Kelly Rutherford and her daughter, Helena, were at the Pampers Dry Max launch party at Helen Mills Theater in New York on Thursday. Helena is getting so big.

Kelly dished to Hollywood Life about giving birth and the right things to be thinking before that day comes. Here are the highlights of the interview.

On the best things you can do during pregnancy: “..meditating, getting quiet and talking to your baby. [Start] visualizing how you want your birth to go, visualizing the baby in the right position and visualizing a healthy birth.”

On who to bring with you that big day, someone that has been through it: “The second time around for me, I had a lot more support and it made it a lot easier. I had a mid-wife with me, even though I delivered at the hospital. I had someone with me that I knew knew what was going on. It was really, really helpful.”

On planning ahead everything you need: “Are you going to need someone to run to the market or help cook for you? Appoint people that you can call when you really need it. It will make the tough times much easier to handle.”

It is true. I know that I wished I depended on people a lot more. I just thought I would be able to go through it without help. I was wrong.

Brooke Burke and her daughter, Neriah, were spotted laughing while out in Cross Creek, Malibu yesterday. Brooke is getting all geared up for her co-hosting duties on Dancing with the Stars.  Brooke said she was excited about the whole process…

“I’m excited to spend some time with the dancers [and] to get back to the ballroom. And this time it will actually be a lot easier, which is a hard [thing] to say with live television.”

I think co-hosting that show would be so much fun. And all the cool people you meet. She surely is lucky. The season starts on Monday, March 22nd.

Jennifer Aniston is back on the big screen this weekend with the movie she stars in with Gerard Butler, The Bounty Hunter. And on her press tour of course the topic of motherhood and marriage came up. Jennifer has always been the one to say that she wanted a family.

“I’ve had some wonderful experiences. I hope I’ve reached a point where I’m ready to enjoy being with a great man and having a family together. That’s always been my dream. Love is the beginning of the process that draws you together, but the intensity and the nature of love is something that evolves as well.

“We all know that things change over time and you’re constantly dealing with different issues and conflicts. You have to be willing to work things out and try to do it as harmoniously as possible. That’s the tough part.”

Love is a tricky thing but I think she knows that already.

I love when celebrities do normal things that everyone else does…like going to the car wash. Jessica Alba hit the car wash yesterday in Los Angeles. It is always fun running errands when you are on your own too. You get everything done faster.

It looks like Jessica is having some time off. She has three movies that she just finished. I can’t even imagine what it would be like to do three movies in a row. And now she can spend the time with her family.

In the last two years that I have been writing for KnockedUpCelebs I have seen Miley grow up. And lately, it seems like she has done that more than ever. She’s on the cover of this weeks Parade magazine showing that she can be taken seriously. In the issue she talks about how she doesn’t go to church as often as she should, why she quit Twitter and having Dolly Parton as her godmother. Here are the highlights:

On her faith: “I don’t necessarily define my faith by going to church every Sunday. Because now when I go to church, I feel like it’s a show. There are always cameras outside. I am very spiritual in my own way. Let me make it clear, though—I am a Christian. Jesus is who saved me. He’s what keeps me full and whole. But everyone is entitled to what they believe and what keeps them full. Hopefully, I can influence people and help them follow the same path I am on, but it is not my job to tell people what they are doing wrong.”

On her love with Liam Helmsworth: “[Liam has] become my best friend in the whole wide world. I love him. He really respects me for who I am because coming from Australia, he really didn’t know me as the celebrity I am here. I got to tell him about myself on my own terms and my own way. He had no preconceived notion of who I was supposed to be.”

On having Dolly Parton as her godmother: “She is the nicest person in the world. She’s so easy to talk to. She’s awesome. I love her. She always tells me just to do what I love and if I’m not having fun it’s not working. I don’t know how old she is at this point but every time she is on the stage she is smiling from ear to ear.”

On why she quit Twitter: “There has been so much controversy sometimes about what I’ve said or done because I believe there are no mistakes because God is the only one who can judge us. That’s the reason I deleted my Twitter account because I said on there that I believed in gay marriage because everyone should have the right to love each other, and I got such hate mail about my being a bad person.”

On steering clear from the country scene: “It scares me, that’s why. It feels contrived on so many levels. Unless you’re wearing a cowboy hat and cowboy boots and singing and whining about your girlfriend or boyfriend leaving you it’s not going to sell. I think that’s why my dad finally got out of it. You have to wear those cowboy boots and be sweet as pie. It makes me nervous, the politics of it all.

You have to admit that Matthew Settle and Kelly Rutherford sure look cute together. They play opposite each other on Gossip Girl and now in real life they are always hanging around each other. Like at the opening of Alice + Olivia by Stacey Bendet shop opening at Saks New York last night.

They were told they looked like a great couple on the screen and Matthew answered, “Yeah we do. We’re good-looking. I’m kidding. Kelly’s beautiful — and I just had my toupee redone, so I should look OK.”

Matthew says that they are just friends though, “We’re good friends. Kelly and I have a lot in common because we are supporting each other at this time in our lives.”

It looks like they are great friends. It’s amazing to have great friends in your life during that time in your life.

Marcia Cross hit the park yesterday with her girls, Eden and Savannah, 2, in Beverly Hills.  They looked like they hit everything possible on that playground while Marcia took turns with both the girls on the swings and the slides. It looks like just a workout watching her. No wonder she’s in such great shape.

Katherine Heigl and an awesome pair of boots were at the ShoWest Big Picture convention in Las Vegas yesterday where she won an award for the Female Star of the Year.

She did get a chance to talk to the media about her future plans.

“I think I’m just gonna try and keep it a little more mellow and be a little bit more of a mom, since that’s a big part of my life now.”

She also talked about how maternity leave showed her that she needed to be home with her family.

“I took those 3 months off and I realized how very, very important is my family is to me and I want to be more available to them.”

I haven’t went back to work outside the home yet since having my son. I think it’s a great time to really get to know them in that first couple of years. I don’t blame Katherine at all.

Jennifer Lopez looked fabulous at the 2010 CBS Films ShoWest luncheon held in Las Vegas yesterday.  Jennifer is starring in The Back-up Plan that hits theaters on April 23rd. I have seen almost everything imaginable about the movie and I admit that it looks really funny.

She’s also in talks to star in the remake of Overboard. If you can remember it’s about a rich woman that falls in love with a carpenter. Will Smith is producing the new version. I wonder if it would be just as good? I sometimes am not a huge fan of the remakes of films.

Ellen Pompeo gave birth to daughter, Stella, in September. She is looking amazing on the April 2010 issue of Self magazine. She talks about how motherhood has changed her body, criticism at being to skinny and healthy eating. Here are the highlights from the issue:

On her pregnancy weight gain: “I went up a pants size during my pregnancy. I was in size 25 (inch waist) jeans and went to 26. I gained 26 pounds. I weigh 10 pounds more than I ever have. I love it.”

On criticism for being too thin: “Everyone always told me I was too skinny before, and I thought, Oh, God, what if there are 14-year-olds who think I’m not eating, and then they don’t eat? Do I have a responsibility? Really, I don’t care if people think I’m too skinny. This is my body. If they don’t like it, screw it.”

On healthy eating: “Take a few hours and prepare lunch for the week. On Sundays, I premake everything for salads. I boil a dozen eggs and parboil beets. I chop lettuce, cilantro, scallions and parsley and put it all in Ziploc bags. During the week, I just grab handfuls, add dressing, dump in a can of beans, some goat cheese, and I’m ready to go.”

On taking just four weeks maternity leave before returning to the Grey’s set: “A lot of people couldn’t understand why I wouldn’t take my maternity leave. I make a good living, but I won’t always make this kind of money. I felt I needed to work while I had this opportunity.”
