Knocked Up Celebs

Angelina Jolie and her girls, Shiloh and Zahara, hit a Los Angeles Toys R Us yesterday. They picked up items for the whole family including Spiderman party supplies. Could it be that they were already starting to shop for Maddox‘s birthday at the beginning of August?

It’s been awhile since we have seen the Jolie-Pitt household out and about at the same time. Brad Pitt and girlfriend, Angelina Jolie, were seen out shopping for groceries with two of their kids, Zahara and Shiloh.

They were at a grocery store in New York and one of the workers there explained how nice they were while they were shopping, “They were here for 30 minutes and left. They were very friendly. They gave autographs and allowed people to take pictures of them inside… very nice.”

I know how hard it is to shop with two kids and that’s without me signing things and getting my picture taken. That was very nice of them.

Angelina Jolie and the oldest girls, Zahara, 4, and Shiloh, 2 1/2, hit Lee’s Art Shop this morning in Manhattan for a shopping spree. The three of them when to the newly reopened store browsing through the educational games. Angelina picked up a deck of cards and a few games.

“Zahara and Shiloh were looking at some of the princess-themed rubber stamps in the back on the ground floor for about 10 minutes, and playing in the wrapping paper before they got to pick out some coloring books and markers.” a source reveals.

But don’t be deceived the girls got a glowing review of how good and sweet they were at the store.

“They said thank you and Shiloh tugged on Angelina’s coat whenever she saw something she really wanted, like a set of washable markers. Very sweet family, down to earth and polite.”

I’m sure that they would all be well behaved when out. Now if only I could teach my kids that!

These new adorable pictures of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie‘s 6-month old twins, Vivienne and Knox, as the family touched down at the Narita International Airport in Tokyo on Tuesday. Baby Viv looks like a smaller version of Shiloh. The rest of the kids, Maddox, Pax, Zahara and Shiloh. They are all such a beautiful family.

Angelina Jolie says of all the places that her six children have been, New Orleans makes them feel most at home.

“Our kids love it here. They love the school and their friends here and most of all they love Verti Marte. Their favorite thing to do is go down there. But for all of us, we just come here and feel at home. We’ve made some great friends.”

Verti Marte is a diner in the city’s French Quarter, and the kids will never want to leave New Orleans because of it.

Suri Cruise is proving once again that everyone cares about her. She has come in at number on Forbes.com as the ‘hottest tot’. Forbes.com ranked celebrity children 5 years old and younger based on media attention and their parents’ popularity. Suri ranked the highest because she was mentioned the most in news stories and web sites.

Brad Pitt is appearing on the Oprah show tomorrow. I can only imagine how funny his interview will be with these snippets as a way of teasing us.

On how fatherhood has changed him: “[I'm] tough as nails. I’m impervious to poo, snot, urine, vomit. You can’t get me. You cannot break me down.”

On quick outings being a thing of the past: “We don’t go to the mall. It’s like a half-an-hour just to get everyone buckled in and make sure they’ve got their snacks, and Z.Z. [Zahara, 3] has got a blanket and Shiloh’s got her silky. Angie’s militant about it. She’s right on top of it. Thank God, because I’m always forgetting something.”

On 2½-year-old daughter Shiloh’s Peter Pan obsession: “She only wants to be called John. John or Peter. So it’s a Peter Pan thing. So we’ve got to call her John. ‘Shi, do you want …’ – ‘John. I’m John.’ And then I’ll say, ‘John, would you like some orange juice?’ And she goes, ‘No!’ So, you know, it’s just that kind of stuff.”

I really think Brad is on to something with the whole poop and puking thing I’m sure that after six kids, he isn’t surprised by anything.

Halloween is a fun time for everyone, and especially for the Jolie-Pitts! Details have finally been released about their Halloween.

Maddox dressed as a marine with a helmet, Pax was a bat and Zahara chose a Jolly Green Giant outfit, says an eyewitness. Shiloh, meanwhile, dressed as a sheriff.

According to the eyewitness, she kept saying to Angelina [Jolie], “I want more candy, mom.” Angelina told her, “You’ll get more, there are more houses.” Shiloh whined, “I don’t want to walk,” so Brad [Pitt] picked her up.

I’m sure they had a lot of fun. We always bring a stroller with so our son can get a ride back home in the stroller. Thankfully, this year we brought one. My son ran out of energy way too soon.

There seems to be so many interviews around of Angelina Jolie between the press for her movie, The Changeling, and her W magazine spread. I thought I would share some of the interview that was written by Inquirer.net.

I had to share first thought that in the article it mentions the nicknames they have for the kids. They are so cute! They are Mad (Maddox), Pax, Zee Zee (Zahara), Shiloh, Knox and Viv (Vivienne).

On how Angelina and Brad Pitt find time for themselves with six kids around: It’s been the hardest thing to find—some time alone. Because even if we lock our door, they (the kids) knock. We often try to go to the bath together at the end of the night, where we sit and talk. They hear the water and want to jump in, so yeah, everybody ends up being there. But. it’s fun and lovely.

On how she deals with the lies from the media: Somebody told me I was depressed. My life is being with my family. My family is so real, close and happy. I wake up, and I want to make sure everybody’s healthy. I don’t care about anything else. You’ve also known me for a long time. It has been years of people saying things about me, so I do tend to ignore it.

On how the kids deal with people always taking pictures of them: We usually say that mommy and daddy make movies—that there’s nothing special or different about us. It’s just the fact that we happen to make movies, so people take pictures. It’s one of those things that you can’t really explain. Zahara hates photography. It makes her very nervous when she’s in the car. A lot of people say to us that she looks very serious. It’s because she’s actually upset when there’s a camera near her. She doesn’t like it. Shiloh tends to wave (laughter).

But, it scares them sometimes. We don’t want them in situations where they’re in a park and they’re going to get too many people around them. I wish there was a law that restricts the proximity that a photographer can have to the children. You have a long enough lens. I don’t understand why they can get this close to a kid’s face in a stroller. It doesn’t make sense to me, because I think it’s psychologically damaging for the children! But, that’s another fight.

Angelina Jolie and boyfriend, Brad Pitt, were seen in New York with the rest of the family for the premiere of Angelina’s latest movie, The Changeling. She will be hitting the red carpet on October 4 for the New York Film Festival. I can’t get over how much Shiloh has changed since the last time we saw her!
