Knocked Up Celebs

Celebrity dads watch their kids play sports just like any other parents, and Ryan Phillippe is no exception.   He was in the stands last weekend to watch his son Deacon (8) play basketball in L.A.’s Brentwood area.   Also at the game were Deacon’s sister Ava (12)… and dad’s new girlfriend, Paulina Slagter.

Phillippe and Slagter have been dating for several weeks now, but that still seems kind of early to have her tag along for something like this, especially when you consider that at 20 years old, she’s closer in age to Ava than to Ryan.   Then again, since she can’t yet legally drink, maybe this is just her speed.

Ryan Phillippe who is in the new movie, The Lincoln Lawyer, has admitted fatherhood is his greatest accomplishment.

“I love kids! Becoming a dad was a natural transition for me to make because my mom ran a day care center in our house and so I grew up around a lot of kids. Being a father is the greatest achievement and the most important thing about me. I have two great kids, no question.”

Ryan has two children with ex-wife, Reese Witherspoon, Ava, 11, and Deacon, 7. Ryan is for sure my favorite celebrity father.

Ryan Phillippe is busy working on his summer job, the new movie, The Lincoln Lawyer, that also co-stars Matthew McConaughey. It’s good because it’s filming in Los Angeles close to both set of parents’ kids.

I want to know what Ryan’s secret to staying so young. I swear every time I see him he looks younger. There has to be something he’s doing. I’ll have to find the secret somehow!

Ryan Phillippe is on the Ellen Degeneres show on Wednesday and he’s proving how mature two people can be after they divorce. He says that Reese Witherspoon and him are getting along…for their children, Ava, 10, and Deacon, 6 .

“Things are great. It is so important as divorced parents to keep that connection. It makes the kids feel better that the parents are interacting. … We go to all the school events together, and we’re there for each other.”

Being divorced also means you have to really know how to juggle things.

“From one week to the next you don’t know where you’re going to have to be for a promotional tour or on location. We’ve done a really good job with that, and our kids are happy and healthy and doing awesome.”

And he’s even dating but trying to focus on himself.

“I’m dating. Sort of my emphasis right now is on the kids and career. I think it would be good for me to be single for a little bit. Yeah, find some focus, some personal focus.”

Sometimes after being in a relationship for so long makes you lose touch in with who you are.

Reese Witherspoon and her kids, Ava and Deacon, went and did a bit of shopping before they went to Jennifer Garner‘s birthday party.

Recently Ryan Phillippe revealed that he approves of Reese’s boyfriends. I think that is great for Reese to know that Ryan trusts her.

“If the kids care about mom and dad, and if that’s consistent and they feel protected that way, they don’t they don’t really care so much about who the parent is dating. They just don’t… I trust her to make the right decisions around our children. I hope she feels the same way.”

It’s always good to be mature in things like this.

Ryan Phillippe was spotted with kids, Ava and Deacon, at Ralph’s supermarket yesterday. I always have thought that Ava and Deacon were the cutest kids of all.

It’s also being reported that Ryan is in a new movie, The Big Valley. It also stars Susan Sarandon, Billy Bob Thornton and Richard Dreyfuss. It was a television series in the ’60′s and is loosely based on that.

Ryan Phillippe, wearing sunglasses and his hood on, ran errands with his daughter, Ava, and son, Deacon. Ryan’s been spending a lot of time with the kids while mom, Reese Witherspoon is filming a new movie.

I can’t wait for Ryan’s next project. I recently just watched Stop-Loss and I’ve missed seeing him on the screen. Ryan has three movies coming up and I can’t wait for them to coming out.

Ryan Phillippe was spotted picking up his son, Deacon, at a Little League game in Brentwood yesterday. It looks like Deacon was a winner yesterday carrying a trophy. And Ryan looks like a proud Daddy.

I still think this father/son combo are the cutest out there!

Ryan Phillippe was spotted helping his son, Deacon, during a baseball game in Los Angeles on Saturday.  Also at the game was Ryan’s girlfriend, Abbie Cornish, and daughter, Ava. The four of them make such a cute family, and Deacon looks like he’s really into the game.
