Ryan Phillippe got a chance to spend some time with his kids, Ava and Deacon, finally. They have been in England and Paris with mom, Reese Witherspoon. Ava sure looks like a big girl now with her glasses and carrying around a bag!

Ryan Phillippe was spotted dropping son, Deacon, off at football camp. But after many hugs Deacon didn’t want to leave dad, so they went home. Ryan is for sure my favorite celebrity dad.

Ryan Phillippe spent Father’s Day with his son, Deacon, 4, shopping. Ryan is my favorite celebrity dad by far. Just Thursday it was announced that his divorce with Reese Witherspoon was finalized after a long battle. I’m glad that Ryan could enjoy time spent with Deacon.

According to In Touch magazine Gavin Rossdale is the Best Celebrity Dad. I think they got that right! The runner-up was Ryan Phillippe who I think is an amazing father as well.

Who were the other’s on the list? Tom Cruise came in third followed by, David Beckham, Adam Sandler, Jack Black, Will Smith and Ben Affleck.

Ryan Phillippe was seen picking up son, Deacon, from school. How cute are the two of them together?

Ryan Phillippe fears that the way he has handled the paparazzi in the past has effected Ava, his oldest child. He admits that he used to get really angry when the paps would try to take pictures of Ava when she was a baby. And now he is afraid she has a nervous disposition because of it.

He says, “She’s aware and it creates in her a lot of anxiety, which is partly my fault. When Ava was very young, I’d get visibly angry with the paparazzi back then.

“She was my first child and my instinct was to protect her. I think the attitude I had at the time did create in her a lot of the fearfulness she has today.”

But Phillippe is relieved that his anxieties did not rub on Ava’s younger brother, Deacon.

He adds, “Mainly because since his birth I’ve realised that you’ve got to make it seem like less of a big deal.”

I hope that he doesn’t blame this all on himself. He was just being a dad!

Ryan Phillippe says he can’t wait to be a father again, he already has two children, Ava, 8, and Deacon, 4, with ex-wife Reese Witherspoon. But he is looking forward to the day he remarries and has more children.

“I can see getting married again. And I can certainly see possibly having children again. I’m pretty young, and there are many beautiful things about that idea of marriage and family.”

I think he is an amazing father already, and I’m a little jealous about the girl that snags his heart again!

Ryan Phillippe says being a father is his “greatest achievement”. He is father to Ava and Deacon. Ryan sat down with Entertainment Tonight the other day and told them how he feels:

“Being a father is by far my greatest achievement and the most important thing about me. My mother had a day-care centre in my house while I was growing up. And I come from a big family on the East Coast. We grew up helping take care of and raise kids, so it’s like second nature to me.”

He also explains how he tells the kids about the paparazzi:

“You try to make it seem as commonplace as you can. That’s sort of the approach you have to take with all of that stuff, with the press, with the paparazzi. You just say, ‘Well, you know, mommy and daddy do this certain kind of job and it creates an interest with the public,’ and you minimize all of that stuff as much as you can.”

I think that is so sweet. He is for sure the hottest dad out there right now! Catch him in the movie Stop Loss which will be in theaters on March 28.

Ryan Phillippe and Deacon, 4, were working out at a Los Angeles high school on Wednesday. Ryan is preparing for a  role that has him as a Viking ruler, a role he needs to be buff for. I’d have to say he is getting there!!

P.S. Who knew that he had such a huge tattoo on his leg???
