Reese Witherspoon hit Brentwood yesterday to do some shopping at a furniture store and then get something cold to drink. They look good too.

Reese has been an advocate on fighting domestic violence. I wish it was something that was more talked about so people didn’t have to be scared to speak out.

“There is nothing more important for all of us than ensuring the safety of women and girls everywhere. The problem is so pervasive, it’s critical that we find ways to work together, as a global community, to combat it.”

It’s so important and so true.

Reese Witherspoon was spotted looking stylish leaving the Neil George salon in Los Angeles this morning. It looks like they did a great job since Reese has a spring to her step. I also love the way she is carrying her purse. I see all the girls in the show Gossip Girl carrying them like that but when I try it it just looks really silly.

Reese Witherspoon was seen in Brentwood, California running errands in her work out clothes. I am sure that she had finished a session of yoga and then did some quick shopping before going home.

Reese told InStyle how she likes to keep in shape…

“I try to exercise every day. I like to run for about an hour, and I’m big into working out with girlfriends. It’s an acquired skill, being able to discuss your love life, children and friends, all while you’re running! But we have mastered it.”

There’s nothing like being able to work out with friends.

Reese Witherspoon was seen running errands in Brentwood, California yesterday.  After meetings she went out for lunch. She was looking cute in her striped shirt and high heels.

She recently told InStyle magazine that she is more confident about herself now:

“As you get older, you know what you like and what you don’t like and you’re not apologetic about it. I used to judge myself so harshly—I think women in their 20s do. But you start to realize that none of it is really all that important. As long as you’re comfortable, the best parts of yourself come through no matter what.”

It’s hard sometimes getting older. I think that Reese is sure doing it with grace.

Reese Witherspoon was seen running a couple of errands with her coffee in Santa Monica today. She was also seen walking with a big burly man but I am sure that was her body guard. I know I wouldn’t be messing with him.

Reese looks like she will busy in the upcoming years with a movie in production now, Pharm Girl, and 11 more in development.

Reese Witherspoon was spotted yesterday doing errands and then getting lunch at Barney’s in Los Angeles, California. Reese is scheduled to be a presenter at the Golden Globe Awards on Sunday night. I am going to be tuning into this one, they have a great list of presenters this year.

Reese recently said that she’s leaned on her female friends when things have got hard for her to deal with.

“It’s tough being a woman. You are supposed to be self-sufficient, but we all need our sisters. I have three women friends who will drop anything to help me and I will do the same for them. I believe in those female bonds, because a lot of stuff happens with men and marriage and divorce, but family and friends are paramount.”

It’s true. When life gets tough a good friend can help you through anything.

Reese Witherspoon was spotted walking hand-in-hand with her two kids, Ava, 10, and Deacon, 6, out and about in Beverly Hills yesterday.

Reese recently talked to InStyle magazine and revealed how she is just doing the best she can as a single mother.

“You consider certain things but you just have to keep going. You have to keep it together for your kids and for yourself too. I’m trying to learn from the things that happened in my life, live more in the moment and have more fun.”

I think living in the moment is someone everyone should do. I know that that is something I need to work on myself.

Jake Gyllenhaal, not letting rumors of a break up with long time girlfriend, Reese Witherspoon, get him down he took a a moment at a press conference for the movie, Brothers, to talk about the little munchkins in his life.

“I’ve learned so much from the kids in my life, and somehow they just become the center of your life and the way you look at things,” he told Grazia Australia. Obviously I exist in my girlfriend’s world and my sister’s world in a different way, but it’s opened my heart and I feel much more grown up and want to be grown up as a result of it.”

He made sure he emphasized the girlfriend part and then he continued to say about the break-up…

“As I get more famous, there is less that is just mine so I hope you understand I want to protect that as much as I can. I understand the news cycle, I really do, but as we all know news cycles come and go and I don’t have to comment on them.”

That sounds like they are still on to me. I really hope they are because I love the two of them together.

Reese Witherspoon struck a pose for the paparazzi at the Peninsula Hotel yesterday in Los Angeles.  She was also doing a bit of retail therapy yesterday too.

Coming up next for Reese is acting and producing in the film, Rule #1.  The movie is about a New York woman, who befriends a Puerto Rican girl with attention deficit disorder.
