Knocked Up Celebs

Yesterday, Naomi Watts and long time partner, Liev Schreiber, hit the Santa Monica pier with their sons, Sasha and Kai. It had to be exciting to the kids to be able to go riding there and then have fun on the rides. I need to get there someday to take my kids. It looks like everyone can have some fun.

The family has been on the West-coast for a couple of weeks now enjoying time spent in the sun and as a family.

Naomi Watts was spotted with son, Sasha, 3, out at Whole Foods in Los Angeles yesterday. It’s been a while since we have seen Naomi out and about.

She is in Los Angeles to start working on the movie, J. Edgar, which co-stars, Leonardo Di Caprio. Leo, plays the first director of the FBI in the movie.

Naomi Watts brings it for the May 2010 issue of Blackbook magazine. She talks about motherhood and her partner, Liev Schreiber. Here are the highlights from the interview included in the magazine.

On motherhood: ““Every single day, I second-guess myself as a mother. I chose to be a mom. It’’s something I’’ve always wanted, but I feel torn between two worlds. I am not reaching the same depths and heights that I used to reach in movies because I’’m a parent of two small children who desperately need me. It’’s frustrating because I feel like I’’m failing a bit on both ends… [but] I would love to have an endless brood of children. I grew up in chaos. I feel comfortable in chaos. Whether or not I’’ll ever adopt remains to be seen, but I totally believe in adoption.””

On being noticed with her partner, Liev Schreiber: “”I’’ve literally had people come up to me and say, ‘‘You look just like that actress Naomi Watts.’’ And when I’’m with Liev, who is so unmistakably him, girls will push past me shrieking, ‘‘Is that the guy from Scream?’”’”

Dream House co-star Rachel Weisz on Naomi: ““Luminous is an overused word with actresses, but Naomi really does radiate light. She is incredibly sensitive to the slightest shift in mood or tone in another person and is able to portray the most delicate of moments, without words, as they flit across her face.””

On starring in a commercial in which she plays an office worker who wins a date with Tom Cruise: “”Who knew my friend [Katie Holmes] would end up married to him? We’’ve all since joked about it. Everyone thought it was funny and silly. But, hey, I got paid something like $10,000 for that one, which allowed me to get over the humiliation pretty quickly.””

Naomi Watts is a busy mom to Sasha, 2, and Sammy, 1, and holds down a career at the same time. She is out of the public eye most times and tries to live her life the best she can. She recently talked to the New York Daily News about how being a mom in this day and time is something else and how she does manage to juggle it all. Here are the highlights:

On juggling it all: “I see myself as any other woman,” she said recently. “Every day I’m struggling to get it right, be a good mother and have time for my relationship with Liev. I’m not sure whether I’m doing any of it right, but I’ve finally got to the age where at least I know that I’m just doing my best.”

On her acting start: “I did loads of commercials before I started acting. You name it, from cereal to Tampax to every kind of embarrassing thing.”

On wanting to give up: “I’d been slogging away in Hollywood for five years, getting nowhere. At castings, I was constantly told I wasn’t talented enough, I wasn’t right, I wasn’t beautiful enough, I was nowhere near sexy enough. … I thought about quitting acting and took other jobs — in restaurants, on magazines — but nothing gave me the same feeling. Nicole actually gave me hope. She’d tell me that it would only take one film, one casting and everything would change.”

Naomi Watts has two children, Sasha, 2, and Samuel, 15 months, with long time partner, Liev Schreiber, and admits that if she could have a girl they would have more children.

“If I could guarantee myself a girl, I’d say yes to having more children… but I’d be sure to have another boy.”

But despite not having a baby girl in the family she says that she is doing her best.

“I see myself as any other working woman. Every day I’m struggling to get it right, do the best I can, make the right choices for work, be a good mother and have time for my relationship with Liev. I’m never sure whether I’m doing any of it right, but I’ve finally got to the age where at least I know that I’m just doing my best.”

And in the end that’s what matters, is that you are doing the best.

Naomi Watts was seen with her two kids, Alexander,2, and Samuel, 1, as they were in LAX coming back from Australia where Naomi was visiting family on Wednesday. Naomi looks great for just coming off such a long flight. I don’t think I would be so perky, that’s for sure.

Naomi’s long-time partner, Liev Schreiber, was not able to go to Australia as he is preparing for being on Broadway with Scarlett Johansson in the play called, A View From The Bridge. It opens on January 24th.

Naomi Watts was spotted with partner, Liev Schreiber, and their two sons, Alexander, 2, and Samuel, 11 months, taking a walk around New York City on a great fall day yesterday.

Naomi just completed the movie, Fair Game. It’s set for release in 2010. Naomi plays a woman whose status as a CIA agent was revealed by White House officials allegedly out to discredit her husband after he wrote a 2003 New York Times op-ed piece saying that the Bush administration had manipulated intelligence about weapons of mass destruction to justify the invasion of Iraq. It also stars Sean Penn.  It sounds like a great movie!

Naomi Watts hit the New York sidewalks to go for a walk with her son, Alex “Sasha”, 2. I know we haven’t seen his little brother Samuel for awhile now. I am sure he is just as adorable and is growing just as fast.

Naomi recently revealed how motherhood is such an amazing feeling to her.

“I’m a mum and the whole concept is science fiction. It is just bizarre. I still can’t believe it when I look at my children that they came from one little moment and they’re people. They’re babies and people and they learn and figure out all these things and you go, ‘God I can’t believe it’. They’re so surprising and endlessly fascinating and soon they’re going to have problems. Now they’re just innocent little beings, learning and growing, but soon they’ll be all f**ked up.”

I know that when I was pregnant I thought the same thing. How wonderful is the process and how weird too.

Naomi Watts is spending time with her partner, Liev Schreiber, and sons, Alexander, 23 months , and Samuel, 7 months, by the pool in Naples, Italy. Alexander is celebrating his birthday on Saturday, and I can only imagine how cool it would be to celebrate it in another country.

I hope the family enjoys their downtime in Italy.

Liev Shreiber and girlfriend, Naomi Watts, took a short vacation with their sons, Alexander ‘Sasha’ Pete, 22 months, and Samuel Kai, 6 months, to Israel.

On Sunday, they took some time to plant a tree at the Jewish National Fund Park. I would love to plant a tree and then go back later and see it. I know that they planted a tree in the name of my son 6 years ago. I would love to find it and see how much it’s grown in that time.
