Minnie Driver Super Skinny On The Red Carpet

November 4th, 2010 Taylor Blue Posted in Minnie Driver No Comments »

Minnie Driver looked amazing on the red carpet of the premiere of, 127 Days, in Los Angeles, California last night. I am also loving that black dress. I’m not a dress person but I like that one. How does Minnie keep looking so great? She revealed the secret:

“My church is surfing and yoga,’ she says. ‘If I can get in a surf or practice yoga then I will. Yoga’s great for when you’ve got a full brain and can’t stop the mind chatter.’

I wish I could surf!

“[Henry and I]  just had a long conversation on the phone before I came here to the premiere and he just loves to talk. He doesn’t shut up like me…His first word was ‘car’. I don’t know where that came from. I have to ask him when he can form full sentences.” -Minnie Driver on her two year old son, Henry, on just learning how to talk.

Minnie Driver Looks Stunning

September 13th, 2010 Taylor Blue Posted in Minnie Driver No Comments »

Minnie Driver looked stunning on the red carpet at the Toronto International Film Festival last night. She was there to premiere the movie, Barney’s Version. It’s the picaresque and touching story of the politically incorrect, fully lived life of the impulsive, irascible and fearlessly blunt Barney Panofsky. It also stars Dustin Hoffman.

Minnie Driver and Henry

Minnie Driver and son, Henry, went and played at Cross Creek Park in California yesterday. It looks like the weather was just as nice as it was here as I took the kids to the zoo. I am sure Henry enjoyed having his bare feet out in the air too. Kids love having bare feet!

Minnie Driver Takes Henry To The Beach

April 6th, 2010 Taylor Blue Posted in Celebrity Kids, Minnie Driver No Comments »

Minnie Driver and Henry

Minnie Driver and son, Henry, spent their Easter on the beach hanging out in the sand and walking the dog. Recently Minnie shared that Henry loves being out on the beach.

“If the tide’s out we’ll look at the anemones and the starfish and the crabs. Somebody told me that if you hum next to a hermit crab, it brings it out – and it works. Henry goes up and hums at any shell he sees now, because he thinks there’s going to be a crab in it.”

He sounds like he was born to be on the beach!

Minnie Driver & Henry Make A Wish

Minnie Driver and son, Henry, 18 months, were making wishes by the wishing well in Cross Creek, Malibu yesterday. It looks Henry loves that water.

Recently Minnie said that she has no regrets in being a single mom and wouldn’t change anything in her past.

“I wouldn’t change a thing about what I’ve done in the past because what may have been bad choices have all led me to this moment. I’m incredibly happy because I’ve got my beautiful baby and lovely partner.”

Living without regrets might be hard but I’m glad she can do it.

Minnie Driver & Henry Go To The Park

Minnie Driver and Henry

Minnie Driver took her little munchkin Henry, 1, to a Malibu, California park yesterday. It looks like Henry is getting the grasp of how to walk now. And he still doesn’t have much hair on his head either. My daughter took forever to grow any kind of hair on her head. I am sure that when it starts growing it will be a full head of hair that is crazy curly.

Minnie Driver & Henry Have Fun At The Park

November 1st, 2009 Taylor Blue Posted in Celebrity Kids, Minnie Driver 1 Comment »

Minnie Driver and Henry

Minnie Driver and son, Henry, were out having fun at Cross Creek Park in Malibu, California yesterday. I love Henry’s little hat. I could never get my son to actually wear a hat. He would always take his off.

Minnie is currently starring in the movie, Motherhood, where she was pregnant the whole time while filming. She says that probably wasn’t the wisest decision she made.

“It was about 4 o’clock in the afternoon, and you just want to be asleep. Really, that’s what you should be doing when you’re pregnant; I didn’t really have much business making a movie when I was that pregnant.”

It must have been her baby brain that got her through. When you are pregnant your forgetfulness can help you sometimes.

Minnie Driver & Story Hang Out

October 28th, 2009 Taylor Blue Posted in Celebrity Kids, Minnie Driver No Comments »

Minnie Driver and Henry

Minnie Driver and son, Henry, were spotted hanging out at Cross Creek Park yesterday in Malibu, California. Henry had a chance to go on the swings and even play in the sand.

Minnie driver is starring in the movie, Motherhood, where she plays a pregnant woman. She didn’t have to go far to research her role since she was infact pregnant at the time with her son. Parade magazine recently caught up with her and asked her about her role as a mother now that Henry was born. Here are the highlights:

On getting ready to be a mom: “I’ve been around kids my whole life. My sister has three children and it’s like I knew what it was like. But, honestly, my mind was just on the impending birth and the immediate future. Having a little baby is very different than dealing with your kids when they’re older. You’re not juggling school schedules and stuff. I’m sure that all will come, but the first year of Henry’s life has been just an insane earthquake for me.”

On nothing being greater than being a mom: “I waited a long time to have children because I had this career that was kind of like my kid, it required as much nurturing and as much attention. Now, I’ve discovered there’s no amount of hassle that could ever be bigger than my love of Henry and the hilarity and joy that he’s brought into my life and continues to bring.”

On her internet support: “I use the site called ‘Mamapedia’ that’s amazing, where you can ask questions and mothers across America can answer, so you can get maybe ten answers and it’s kind of a cool resource. But sitting down and reading about somebody else’s tough experiences of being a mother, you’re suddenly like, ‘My God, I’ve got a kid and I don’t have time to read about this. I’ve got to go do it.”

On their Halloween costumes: “This Halloween, he’s going to be the Crocodile Hunter and I’m the crocodile. My crocodile head just arrived in the mail. I got Henry a little blond wig because he doesn’t have much hair and he’s going to be Steve Irwin, may he rest in peace.”

On her uncertain future: “I always took the best thing that came along. I’ve never had the luxury of being really choosy. I’ve never planned out years in advance the films that I’m going to be making, and nobody was ever structuring the financing of a movie around me. But, good stuff always comes, although it’s a little frustrating not knowing what I’m going to be doing next.”
