Super mom and action star Milla Jovovich is in Toronto shooting Resident Evil: Retribution, the fifth installment in the wildly popular Resident Evil franchise.

Milla recently blogged from the set about how she spends time with her daughter Ever (4) when she’s not playing Alice, the zombie-fighting, superhuman hero of the films.

Good mornin from “camp evil” every1! It’s a short shooting day 4 me 2day which is awesome cause I’ll go do my stunt rehearsal in a few hours AND THEN… I get to go to tai Kwon do class w my daughter!!!!! I’m so excited! I get to “mom it up”and throw her “the look” when she doesn’t concentrate on what she’s doing! Lol! I’ve got “the look” down pact, I’ve been cultivating it since she was a baby, so I don’t really ever have to raise my voice at her and it’s grt 4 when u’re in a public space. It’s sort of the equivalent of Eddie Murphy’s mom’s high heeled shoe flying thru the air like a boomerang in “raw”! Lolol! If u haven’t seen that movie, u must stop everything n rent it. Like IMMEDIATELY! So anyway, i won’t b around much 2day guys, so have a good one! Xo m (Dec 1)

(Side note:  she is so right about Eddie Murphy‘s Raw.  I caught it on TV this weekend and realized that it’s still pants-wetting funny no matter how many times I watch it. He’s kind of a jerk but he’s funny as hell.)

Milla and family seem to be having a great time in Toronto.  Here’s some fun pics of her, Ever and husband (and director) Paul W. S. Anderson at a Santa parade in town.  Enjoy!

Milla Jovovich Pretty In Pink

March 19th, 2011 Taylor Blue Posted in Milla Jovovich 1 Comment »

Milla Jovovich was a guest in Warsaw for her hosting gig at the 2011 Lexus Fashion Awards. She looked great at the event wearing three outfits. I have only included the pink one, my favorite of them all.

Milla is probably best known now for being in Resident Evil. I’m sure that she loves to make those action movies. I know that I sure would. It doesn’t seem like a job to me at all.

Milla Jovovich Works It Out

March 14th, 2011 Taylor Blue Posted in Celebrity Dads, Milla Jovovich 1 Comment »

Milla Jovovich was spotted with her husband, Paul Anderson, making their way out of a gym in West Hollywood, California. The two of them have a personal trainer that they were working out with.

I think that working out together is a great way to get closer to your mate. And it could be considered a date, couldn’t it?

Milla Jovovich & Family Go To The Berlin Zoo

October 17th, 2010 Taylor Blue Posted in Celebrity Dads, Celebrity Kids, Milla Jovovich 1 Comment »

Milla Jovovich and her husband, Paul W. S. Anderson, took their daughter, Ever, to the Berlin Zoo in Germany yesterday. It looked like a brisk fall day there for sure.

Recently, Milla revealed that her and her husband need to get a move on to have more children:

“Once The Three Musketeers is in the can, it would be nice to think about having another baby. Ever is going to be three in November so we’ve definitely got to get a move on.”

I always have thought their family is so cute!

Milla Jovovich & Husband On Set

September 27th, 2010 Taylor Blue Posted in Celebrity Dads, Milla Jovovich No Comments »

Milla Jovovich and husband, Paul W.S. Anderson, took a break together while filming, The Three Musketeers, in Wuerzburg, Germany on Saturday. That must be convenient for the two of them to be working on the same movie. That way they can all stay together as a family and make money. I think that is genius.

The Three Musketeers also stars Orlando Bloom. That is going to be a good looking cast!

Mom Celeb Quote: Milla Jovovich

September 10th, 2010 Taylor Blue Posted in Celebrity Kids, Celebrity Mom Quotes, Milla Jovovich No Comments »

“It took a year to put on that weight and a year to take it off. Basically, I lost 10 pounds a month for four months. Since I was around 200 pounds when I gave birth, losing 40 pounds was just a drop in the ocean. I knew after the 40 that I really had to discipline myself or this was the new me. Basically, I worked out a few times a week and did the Five Factor Diet. I put away the cake and pizza. But the weight didn’t slip off. It took me another eight months to get it all off.” -Milla Jovovich on how she lost the 70 pounds she gained while pregnant with daughter, Ever.

Milla Jovovich Covers Lucky Magazine

June 5th, 2010 Taylor Blue Posted in Milla Jovovich No Comments »

Milla Jovovich has to be one of the prettiest women out there. I can’t figure out why they over airbrushed this July 2010 cover of Lucky magazine, she would have looked fine without all of that. In the magazine she tells her style tips and her favorite her accessories. Here are the highlights:

On some of her past looks: “When I think back, I’ve pulled off some pretty funny looks…when I was 25 thinking I was the coolest person in the world…but no regrets.”

On finding unexpected heirlooms: “I tend to find little things at stores like Zara that I’m going to wear in the moment, and forget about, and then find again.” — she never throws anything away!

Milla Jovovich & Ever Hit The Park

Milla Jovovich and Ever

Milla Jovovich and daughter, Ever, 2, were spotted playing at Coldwater Canyon Park in Beverly Hills yesterday. It looks like they had fun playing in the sand and swinging on the swings. Ever even got a chance to ride a bike.

Recently, Milla talked about how being a mom is her biggest priority.

“Before you have kids, you create so many problems that are centered in yourself. You’re thinking, Am I ready for this audition? Am I good enough? Now that I have a kid, it’s not such a big deal. Even if I don’t get the job, I know I’m going to be really busy at home. Being a mother to my daughter, Ever, is a full-time job. Now it’s all about my baby, her growing up well and getting everything she needs. Everything else is just a plus.”

When the kids come first everything goes smoother.

Milla Jovovich and Ever

Milla Jovovich and daughter, Ever, 2, were seen shopping at Bristol Farms on Sunday.

Recently on Twitter fans approached Milla about being in a World Of Warcraft movie. Milla answered and said that she would love to be a part of it. I think that she was awesome in Resident Evil and she would be great in that movie too.

Milla Jovovich & Family Hit The Grocery Store

Milla Jovovich And Ever

Milla Jovovich was at Bristol Farms with husband, Paul W.S. Anderson, and daughter, Ever, 2, for some lollipop fun. It looks like Ever is really enjoying the lollipop.

Milla recently revealed that parents should be monitoring what their kids are watching.

“I think parents need to take a lot more responsibility than they do about whether it’s OK for their children to go to Resident Evil or any other movie with violence or sex or whatever. It’s really easy to blame Hollywood for violence having an effect on kids, but movies would have no power if parents would just set their own standards. And it’s the same with video games.”

I have to agree with her. So many times I hear kids talking about the cool game they are playing and I know it’s violent and I wonder if their parents know that too.
