Miley Cyrus and mom, Tish, were hanging around Toluca Lake yesterday enjoy each other’s company and laughing. They also went for lunch at Mo’s Restaurant.

Miley is set to appear at the 2009 Teen Choice Awards which air on Monday night. She will be performing her latest release, Party In The USA. I know there will be many teens out there that will be excited to see that!

Miley Cyrus is on the cover of the August 2009 issue of Elle magazine. Miley is taking on a more adult look for this issue and talks about her dad, boyfriends and why she’s not a kid anymore. She has also started a clothing line with Max Azria. I am sure it will be a sure-fire hit with all the tweens. Here are the highlights of the interview.

On her new clothing line with Max Azria for Wal-Mart: “The jeans are my favorite part of the entire line. Because, like, literally this is going to be good for, like, Middle America, and it will be great for kids that really want to be in fashion but that don’t have it available.”

On the difficulties of being a teen star and why she’s friends with other young performers: “It’s hard for all of us. There are so many people that could be using you. So me and Nick and Demi, we don’t need anything from each other. We got our own thing going on.”

Miley Cyrus has confirmed that her nose ring is real. I think that it looks cute on her. I have debating whether to get one myself. And what’s even cuter? Her dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, was the one that took Miley to get it.

“She said, ‘Daddy would you take me to get my nose pierced?’ I said, ‘Did you ask your mamma?’ and she said, ‘Mamma said I can do it if you would take me.’ We went to a little place in studio city. I felt kind of nervous.”

I know that I would rather my 16 year old go with me to get the piercing done then go behind my back and get it done. Would you let your daughter get a piercing like that so young?

Miley Cyrus posted the cutest picture yesterday of her and her mom, Tish, on Twitter last night. In the picture Miley has a nose ring, it’s not known if it’s real or just a prop from the movie she is in, The Last Song, which she is filming right now in Georgia.

Miley Cyrus took her sister, Noah, and grandmother, Ruth Ann, out for some Memorial Day fun yesterday. She was on the hunt for a nail salon that was open so she could have a pampering day. How cute is it that Grandma carries Miley’s dog, Sophie?

Miley Cyrus had a chance to have some Mom and me time with her Mom, Tish, yesterday. They were shopping and also went out to a cafe. Miley tweeted while she was out with her mom saying…

just walked in to studio cafe, looked at the tv and ” hannah montana” was playing! one of those “wow” moments!

I think that would be surreal to actually see myself somewhere else on TV. But if Miley has grown up like that its neat to see that she’s still humble about her being famous.

Miley Cyrus and her sister, Brandi, were seen shopping at the Royal Duchess in Studio City, California. It looks like they had fun with their retail therapy.

Miley recently took to Twitter to talk about cyber-bullying and the comments that she is fat and has flabby legs. I am so happy that there is places like Twitter where celebrities have a chance to set things straight.

“Talk all you want. I have my flaws. I’m a normal girl there’s things about my body I would change, but stop calling me f*t in post,” she wrote. “I don’t even like the word. Those remarks that you hateful people use are fighting words, the ones that scar people and cause them to do damage to themselves or others.”

It’s crazy that she even has to deal with things like that. I think if more celebrities would voice their opnions the haters might realize it’s not healthy at all.

Miley Cyrus was seen heading to work with her Grandmother carrying her dogs today. They were walking to a studio in California. It’s nice to see even celebrities working on Saturday.

Miley recently spoke out on how she felt about the celebrity blogger Perez Hilton…

“I don’t know how old he is, but taking it out on me is a little strange. It’s like going back to high school,” Miley tells. “I get to travel and go to London and Paris, while this person sits by the computer writing mean things about me. I’d rather be the one traveling.”

I know sometimes he can be harsh about things. Miley does get to experience things we can only imagine.
