Knocked Up Celebs

It’s fall, and five year olds everywhere are heading off to kindergarten for the first time, including Melissa Joan Hart‘s son Mason.  She Tweeted the news:

My little man Mason is off to his 1st day of Kindergarten!It’s a major mile-stone in the life of a parent & 1st stop on the road to college!

It was so exciting dropping him off at his locker but I tear’d up after I left. I need a hug! #bittersweet

Awwwww!  I’m not ashamed to admit that I cried like a baby on my oldest’s first day of school.   What about you?

Melissa Joan Hart and her sons, Mason and Braydon Wilkerson, scooped up some deals at the grand opening of the new 77kids store in Times Square.

77kids by American Eagle Outfitters is a line of “edgy” children’s clothing and accessories for kids up to age 14.  Basically, if you want your baby to look like he was dressed by Avril Lavigne, you probably want to shop here.

I kid, I kid.  Some of their stuff is very cute, if perhaps a bit too precious for my taste.  It looks like Melissa had no problem finding clothes she liked for her boys, though!

Melissa Joan Hart was seen at the GBK Gift Lounge in Honor of the 2010 Emmy Nominees and Presenters held at The SLS Hotel Beverly Hills in California on Saturday. She also made an appearance with new co-star Joey Lawrence.

Melissa is back on prime time in a new show called, Melissa & Joey, which is on ABC Family. It seems to be an instant hit since the two have a great chemistry together. They have both known each other since they were 4. I guess that would help for being co-stars that’s for sure.

I found this cute interview this morning with Melissa Joan Hart and Soleil Moon Frye. They talk about parenting, their husbands and how they deal with the social media world. It’s neat how they have known each other for so long and how them bantering back and forth seems so natural.

Melissa Joan Hart hit the red carpet for the after party of celebrating the new cast members of the play ‘Love, Loss, and What I Wore’ held at Marseille in New York City.

Recently, Melissa announced that ABC family has just ordered 10 episodes of a new comedy series, aptly titled Melissa & Joey. It also stars Joey Lawrence. The upcoming sitcom is set to hit the small-screen airwaves sometime this year.

It will be nice to see Melissa back on TV again. I really did like Sabrina, The Teenage Witch.

Melissa Joan Hart attended the Oxygen TV and Ubisoft Celebrate ‘Your Shape’ held at Hyde Lounge in Los Angeles last night.  Melissa has been tweeting about how busy she has been lately.

Just finished the table read with the new cast, including my bud joey lawrence, of or pilot episode of our new show. It’s hilarious!!

I can’t wait to see her new show, she said in her blog that it’s a new sitcom with ABC Family. I really wish that we got that channel here in Canada.  It will be nice to see both Melissa and Joey back on TV again.

Melissa Joan Hart is wife to Mark Wilkerson, and has two baby boys, Mason, 3, and Brady, 20 months, and has found a way that she could enjoy some private time with her husband.

“We actually prefer date lunches. Date nights, we’re always tired, and we figure if the kids are in bed then we’re just wasting our time, so we really like lunches. We get the nanny to come over and we go out to lunch and have a blast.”

I think it’s so important to have that time alone with your significant other. And time away from stress is always a good thing.

Melissa Joan Hart is busy in California these days being one of the celebrities on this season of Dancing With The Stars. And part of doing that means she has to leave her two sons, Mason, 3, and Braydon, 18 months, behind. Before the show started she talked to iVillage on how she was trying to deal with the adjustment.

“It’s emotional to leave my kids. Now I’m gone for a little over a week and then they’ll come see me for a week and then they’ll be gone for two weeks, and so on and so forth until the end.”

She also said that to help the kids her husband, Mark Wilkerson, will be recording the show so the kids can watch their mom.

“Of course my husband is going to be TiVo-ing me on TV so they can watch and see what Mommy’s doing.And they’re going to be coming out [to California] a lot.”

That would be hard to leave the kids like that but I bet she is having so much fun.

Melissa Joan Hart tweeted this picture of her and her boys, Mason, 3, and Braydon, 18-months. I love it when they can share personal pictures with us. It makes it so much nicer than seeing the paparazzi pictures that invade their privacy.

Hello East Coast!

Hi all,
A LOT has changed in my world since the beginning of the summer. We sold our LA home and moved to the East Coast. We are so excited but up to our ears in boxes and overwhelmed is an understatement. ON top of that I have joined Twitter. Those of you who already found this fun little place can follow me at MellyJHart. Not exactly sure how it works yet but I’m sure I’ll pick it up quickly.
Heading to a fun family vacation in my favorite place in the world…Lake Tahoe! Woohoo!
Meanwhile keep an ear out for some exciting news that will pop up on Monday…its a good one.

I am thinking I have to go to Lake Tahoe too. It seems like everyone I know is going there and I have to stay behind. I also wonder what her news will be Monday. I guess we will have to wait and see!
