Congratulations to Keri Russell and husband Shane Deary! They welcomed their second child over the holidays.

Little Willa Lou Deary was born on December 27 in New York City.   She joins big brother River (4).

Keri’s rep tells People that mom and baby are both “happy and healthy.”

Keri Russell was seen on the red carpet for the premiere of Leaves Of Grass held at the Sunshine Cinema in New York last night. I was looking up the movie on IMDb and it says it comes out in April. I can’t find Keri in the cast although she is in the stills.

Recently Keri told Health magazine that she does want more children although her and her husband aren’t quite there yet.

“Yes! We’re not there yet, but it’s totally a possibility. Although, I just ran into a friend of mine, and I said, “How’s the second baby?” And she said, “You have two, you might as well have 300.”

I don’t know how easy 300 kids would be to manage having two is a lot too.

Keri Russell and son, River, 2, were spotted going for a walk in Brooklyn, New York on Monday.

Keri just wrapped up a movie with Brendan Fraser called, The Untitled Crowley Project, it’s a drama centered on the efforts of John and Aileen Crowley to find a researcher who might have a cure for their two children’s rare genetic disorder. It sounds like it will be a tear jerker.

Keri Russell was spotted with husband, Shane Deary, and son, River, walking through the snow in their Brooklyn neighborhood on Tuesday.

Keri is reading River, 19 months, books now but they don’t quite get to the end of them yet.

“We do read [him] books, and he has his favorites, but right now it’s very much like ‘Read this one, read this one. We read the first two pages, then he’s like, ‘And now this one.’ I’m like, ‘But we haven’t gotten to the best part! Let me finish.’ It’s a lot of that.”

I hate that! I always like reading to the end of the books. In my house it’s pick the longest book we can find and make mom read the whole thing in one sitting. Most of the time I win and we spread the book through the week.
