Kate Beckinsale‘s new movie Underworld: Awakening just hit theaters, so she’s hit the promotional trail.    Today she attended a photocall for the movie at the Villamagna Hotel in Madrid.  She looked absolutely glam in a red halter dress and nude platform heels.  True, her look is fairly understated.  But why get fussy when you’re this gorgeous?  Kate’s simple beauty is what makes her this week’s hot celebrity mom.

By the way, Kate’s daughter Lily Mo is about to be a teenager:  she turns 13 on January 31.

Kate Beckinsale was spotted with husband, Len Wiseman, and daughter, Lily, 11, going shopping in Santa Monica yesterday. I always love seeing this family together. They really seem like they do everything together.

It is being reported that Kate’s role in Underworld 4 is a smaller part…in the movie she passes the torch to her daughter. And the release date has been moved to January 2012. It seems like a lot of movies will be coming out in 2012 now. It is also following in the footsteps of the other Underworld movies that came out in January.

Also yesterday, Kate and Lily were seen leaving a pet store with another furry friend. They have two cute little dogs now.

Kate Beckinsale, and her amazing high heels, went for a walk with husband, Len Wiseman, went for a walk in Santa Monica on Sunday. Those heels Kate has on are something else, I don’t know if I would be able to walk on them like she is. But Kate could make anything look good to wear. She really gives moms a good name!

Kate Beckinsale was spotted looking amazing leaving the Byron & Tracey salon in Beverly Hills yesterday. I am tempted to get my hair done now seeing how amazing Kate looks.

It sounds like the rumors of Kate doing the next Underworld are true. Working on that movie should be fun with ex-husband, Michael Sheen, rumored to be co-starring, and husband, Len Wiseman, rumored to be directing. They all seem close anyways is should be fun for them all.

It looks like IMDb has announced on her page that she is indeed in Underworld 4. I think they are in talks for the movie being in 3D too.

Kate Beckinsale went to pick up daughter, Lily, from school in Los Angeles yesterday. I have to admit that dog they have is adorable.

Kate recently said that she is proud to say that they are a family with two dads, Michael Sheen, who is Lily’s dad, and then Len Wiseman, who is Kate’s husband.

“We’re a family with two dads. Somehow it all works out. Lily walks around the house going, ‘Daddy!’ and several people say, ‘Yes?’ It’s kind of funny. ‘No, not you, the other one!’”

I always think it’s awesome when adults can be adults and have a great relationship for the kids.

Kate Beckinsale and husband, Len Wiseman, were spotted out and about holding hands in Brentwood.

It was announced recently that Kate has accepted a part in the movie, The Princess and the Gangster. Her characters name would be Princess Margaret. It’s about the Queen’s late sister’s affair with gangster and actor John Bindon, sources say.That sounds like it would be a great movie.

In other news, it has been rumored that Kate is trying to get out of her role in the the next Underworld movie. They plan on doing it in 3D. She could also try to find a similar role so she could try and pass the torch. I don’t know if I like anyone else other than her playing Selene.

It’s rumored that Kate will be in the movie Underworld 4. I have been reading up on it and I think she said she wasn’t going to do it…but what would Underworld be without her? She is the reason why I watch the movie.
