There’s a new addition to the Kardashian clan.

Kourtney Kardashian gave birth to a daughter named Penelope Scotland Disick on July 8th.   Little Penelope was reportedly delivered naturally and weighed 7 lbs. 14 oz.

Kourtney released a statement on behalf of herself and husband Scott Disick.

“Scott and I are overjoyed to welcome our precious angel Penelope Scotland Disick into our lives. We are forever blessed. Mommy and baby are resting comfortably.”

Grandmother Kris Jenner explained how Kourtney and Scott chose their daughter’s name.  While Penelope “just seemed nice” to Scott, Kourtney’s grandmother, Mary Jo Houghton, suggested the name Scotland evidently as a nod to her own Scottish heritage.

Kourtney and Scott have one other child, a son named Mason (2 1/2).

Kris Jenner did more than spend her weekend digging up old, embarrassing photos with which to torture her son, Rob Kardashian.  She and her daughter Kylie Jenner hit the premiere of Mirror Mirror.  They hammed it up on the red carpet and appeared to be having a fabulous time.

Quasi-Kardashians Kendall Jenner (16) and Kylie Jenner (14) are on the cover of Teen Vogue for March 2012.    Photographer Regan Cameron kept the sisters appropriately fresh and young, which is exactly how they should look.

The girls give the magazine a peek into their massive closets and talk family, friends and fashion.  Check out their interview and more photos here.

At least I think that’s a baby bump, or maybe it was just a little too much pizza?   Kourtney Kardashian stepped out for New Year’s Eve in a slinky, low-cut gown that revealed plenty of cleavage but not much around her midsection.   She and partner Scott Disick hit up the celebration at Chateau Nightclub in the Paris Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.

Kourtney looks great but I wonder if she’s having trouble gaining enough weight this pregnancy.  She has admitted that she’s not able to tolerate many foods this time around, and is just eating “whatever [she] can.”

As I was writing about Rob Kardashian‘s new sock venture this morning, I was wondering why we hadn’t seen the Kardashian Family 2011 Christmas photo yet.  And then there it was on Kim Kardashian‘s blog today.   (Matriarch Kris Jenner was probably waiting for Kim to divorce Kris Humphries before scheduling the photo shoot.)

It’s very similar to last year‘s card in that it looks like a promo shot for a prime-time soap opera about very wealthy people doing despicable things to each other.  Wait, am I talking about Dynasty, or Keeping Up With The Kardashians?  I cannot imagine what instructions photographer Nick Saglimbeni gets prior to the Kardashian-Jenner family’s Christmas photo sessions.  “Make us look as vulgar and new money as possible,” maybe?

Rob Kardashian is following his sisters Khloe, Kim and Kourtney Kardashian into the world of fashion.  He’s announced that he’s working on a line of dress socks.

Dress socks?  No, he’s serious.

“I am working on a dress sock line of funky, colorful, cool designs…No one wants to see a boring tube sock.  I have all these designs in my head and I am very into it.”

Rob says he’s “very passionate” about the project, which he claims is not driven by the Kardashian consumer and media juggernaut spearheaded by his mother Kris Jenner.

“I don’t care about the Kardashian brand at all.  This is something I have been wanting to do. I don’t care for it to be a ‘Kardashian’ thing. I haven’t made a final decision with the name, but I have no intention of doing something in front of the camera for monetary gain.”

Now that kind of talk is probably not going to make Mom very happy.  But let us see what young Rob has to offer before we judge him.  We’ll keep you posted on his foray into dress sock design!

Just shy of their son Mason‘s second birthday, Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick have even more to celebrate:  they’re expecting baby number 2.

Kardashian revealed that she is just nine weeks along, but doesn’t want to keep the secret any longer.  She told Us Magazine:

“You’re supposed to wait 12 weeks to tell people, but I feel confident.”

Both mom and dad admit that this pregnancy, like their first one, was not exactly planned.

Little Mason will turn two on December 14th.

Happy birthday to Kendall Jenner, who celebrated her 16th birthday this past weekend.  She partied with her family at the Andaz Hotel in Hollywood, where she was surprised with a luxurious gift:  a 2012 Range Rover.    As is fitting for a clan known for throwing multi-million dollar weddings, Kendall’s birthday present cost a cool $90,000.   Lucky girl!

The youngest Kardashian sisters, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner, are serious about pursuing their modeling careers.  (So what if their last name is Jenner, they’re still part of the Kardashian family hive.)  While Kendall appears to be ruling the print advertising realm with campaigns for Marc Clark and Leah Madden, Kylie is taking to the runway.

Kylie will take her first turn down the catwalk for Avril Lavigne‘s Abbey Dawn line tomorrow at New York Fashion Week.  What an awesome place to make her debut!  Good luck, Kylie!

Chaz Bono and Lacey Schwimmer – Chaz is the transgender son of the late Sonny Bono and Cher, and was born Chastity Bono.  His participation in the show has already sparked controversy.

Chynna Phillips and Tony Dovolani – Chynna is the daughter of The Mamas & The Papas‘ band members John Phillips and Michelle Phillips.

There are also several celebrity parents competing this season, including David Arquette, Ricki Lake and NBA player Ron Artest.
