Knocked Up Celebs

Even with a new little one, Jessica Alba manages to make plenty of time to spend one-on-one with her older daughter, Honor.    This weekend, they made a stop for coffee in Brentwood.  Hopefully Honor wasn’t drinking coffee, but maybe a steamed milk?  She looks about as happy as a girl can to be out with her mom, don’t you think?

Jessica Alba and her daughter Honor Warren spent a little girly bonding time at the salon last week.  They both got mani-pedis!  Honor looks adorable in those big salon flip flops, showing off her rainbow nails.  We should all have such fun with our fingers and toes!

Proud parents Jessica Alba and Cash Warren had a fun day out last weekend with their daughters, Honor and Haven.  They hit up Coldwater Canyon Park in Beverly Hills, which is where all the stars take their kids, n’est-ce pas?   Honor looked like she was having a great time running and playing in the sand, while Jessica stayed close to Haven’s stroller.

Jessica Alba shows off her new daughter, Haven Garner Warren, in the latest issue of People.  Haven is just seven weeks old now, and what a cutie she is!

Speaking of Haven’s looks, Jessica admits that she and husband Cash Warren were a bit surprised by them.

“I really only expected my child to look like [older daughter] Honor.  When the two of us made such a different-looking kid it was, like, ‘Okay, I guess we can do this too!’ It was a nice little surprise.”

Little Haven evidently wanted to tap a different part of the gene pool, that’s all!   She’s just adorable, don’t you think?

Jessica Alba visited Jimmy Kimmel Live to promote her new movie, Spy Kids 4: All The Time In The World.  In return, he “visited” a birthing class with Jess because…. well, we’re not sure.  Because it’s Jimmy Kimmel.

To wit:  this exchange.

Jimmy:   “I don’t know what’s going on.”

Jessica:   “So your vagina needs to open up.  Well, it’s technically your cervix…”

Jimmy:  “I have trouble getting my vagina open.”

Jessica:  “Well, you don’t have trouble getting your mouth open.”

Jimmy:  “Well that’s true.  I’ll try to think of it as my face vagina.”

Then the instructor explains perineal massage, and it’s all kind of downhill from there.

Jimmy might not have been too much help to Jessica, but she does admit that she’s ready for baby #2.

“I’m excited, nervous and ready… I can’t wait.”

Hmmm… just a few weeks ago she said she wasn’t ready at all!   Someone must be getting close to her due date!

A heavily pregnant but very radiant Jessica Alba walked the red carpet at the premiere of her new movie, Spy Kids 4:  All The Time In The World.    She and her baby bump looked comfortable in a star-patterned Dolce & Gabbana maxi dress – an elegant and fun choice for the premiere of a kids’ movie!

Jessica raised many eyebrows this week when her recently interview with Lucky was published.    She explained her plan for losing weight after she gives birth to baby #2:

“I have a hard time with portion control, so I have 1,200 calorie meals delivered. But I also work out, so basically I’m starving. It sucks. I drink a lot of water.”

Hmmmm.  When a former anorexic starts talking about severe portion control, excessive working out and starving herself, red flags start to go up.  I know there’s a ton of pressure in Hollywood to be as thin as possible, but I hope Jessica loses her baby weight in a sensible way – for her sake as well as to set a healthy example for her daughter Honor.

Jessica Alba‘s due date is fast approaching, but she admitted that she’s nowhere near ready for her second child.  She said:

“The nursery isn’t ready. It’s not even close, but I’m accumulating things.   I like to buy like old furniture and new furniture and refurbish it…We’re [also] remodeling our house, so it’s going to take a few months. I’m really taking my time.”

She also admits she’s learned a few things from being a new mom to daughter Honor.

“In the beginning the baby stays with me in the room, so you don’t need the nursery ready so soon.”

Although Jessica and husband Cash Warren know the sex of their baby, the rest of us won’t find out until he or she is born.  Any bets on whether it’s a boy or a girl?

Jessica Alba and daughter, Honor, were spotted at Coldwater Canyon Park in Los Angeles today. It’s great that Jessica is staying fit while she is pregnant. It’s always proven that it’s easy to deliver when you are in shape.

We all know as a parent that it’s important to read to your children and recently Jessica talked about how she reads to Honor.

“Horton Hatches the Egg is her favorite. We read that at least four times a week because she likes the same book over and over again. Usually, it’s more than that because we read throughout the day. And at night, we read at least two or three stories. I try to identify small words for her to read. We’ve got it down to ‘bed’ — the one word if she sees it, she knows it. And ‘Honor.’ She can identify the letters in her name. So we play little games while we’re reading and I’ll say, ‘Can you find the ‘H’ on the page or the ‘O.’ Her name is the easiest thing for her to identify.”

That is a great way to teach kids!

Jessica Alba and husband, Cash Warren, were seen taking a stroll in New York yesterday. Jessica is expecting her second child with Cash and recently revealed that she won’t be telling the sex of the baby before it’s born.

“We tell our family but we don’t tell anyone outside of that. I’m hiding it well. definitely have a bit of a bump.”

Is big sister, Honor, ready to for the baby?

“We talk about it. She loves babies, she loves her dollies and she likes taking care of her dollies. I think that’s the closest association she can really have with a baby.”

I’m sure that Honor will love having a real life doll to play with!
