I love when celebrities do normal things that everyone else does…like going to the car wash. Jessica Alba hit the car wash yesterday in Los Angeles. It is always fun running errands when you are on your own too. You get everything done faster.

It looks like Jessica is having some time off. She has three movies that she just finished. I can’t even imagine what it would be like to do three movies in a row. And now she can spend the time with her family.

Jessica Alba & Honor Go For A Swing

March 18th, 2010 Taylor Blue Posted in Celebrity Kids, Jessica Alba No Comments »

Jessica Alba & Honor

Jessica Alba and daughter, Honor, had some fun in the sun yesterday at a park in Beverly Hills.  It looked like the perfect day for sliding on slides and swinging on swings.

Recently Taylor Lautner revealed that he had a crush on Jessica for the longest time!

“[The] fans are pretty intense and passionate. I don’t know if I’ve been quite like that for anybody but when I was younger, I liked Jessica Alba for the longest time!”

That is so cute! If I were Jessica I would feel really special.

March 1st, 2010 Taylor Blue Posted in Celebrity Dads, Celebrity Kids, Jessica Alba No Comments »

Jessica Alba

Jessica Alba and husband, Cash Warren, had fun at Beverly Hills Park on Sunday with daughter, Honor. Honor had fun sliding down the slides and running in the sand.

Recently Jessica spoke to Cosmo UK about the infidelity claims in her relationship with her husband saying, “it’s just so ridiculous … it’s not even close to being the truth.”

Mom Celeb Quote: Jessica Alba

February 27th, 2010 Taylor Blue Posted in Jessica Alba, Mom Celeb Quote No Comments »

Jessica Alba

“I chose to get married because, essentially, you’re given a deck of cards in life. The hand you were dealt with is your family and you can’t choose them. But the one person you can choose to bring into your life as your family and to have that unconditional love with is your husband and wife. I’m choosing you as my family and we’re going to love each other through thick and thin.” -Jessica Alba weighing in on marriage to Cosmo UK.

Jessica Alba & Family Go For A Sunny Valentine’s Day Stroll

February 15th, 2010 Taylor Blue Posted in Celebrity Dads, Celebrity Kids, Jessica Alba No Comments »

Cash Warren and Honor

Jessica Alba and husband, Cash Warren, were seen with daughter, Honor, having lunch at California Pita yesterday in Beverly Hills, California before going for a walk. Honor always looks so excited when she is walking down the sidewalk.

Jessica recently did an interview with a magazine in Britain called Scarlet and expressed how she’s happy in her life now.

“Making lots of money has made me happy. No one else helped me - I’ve done this all by myself, on my own terms. My dad’s also turned his real-estate business round and (is) doing really well, and my brother acts, models and does mortgages, so we’ve all come up in the world. Anyone out there who gets bullied should realize that they can take control of their lives and succeed.”

It’s great to know when you succeed and you are able to do it on your own. Case in point her new movie, Valentine’s Day was number one at the box office this weekend.

Jessica Alba On The UK Valentine’s Day Red Carpet

February 12th, 2010 Taylor Blue Posted in Jessica Alba No Comments »

Jessica Alba

Jessica Alba tried to feel warm on the red carpet premiere of Valentine’s Day held at the Odeon Leicester Square in London, England the other day.  She was brave to wear a sleeveless dress on the red carpet when it was so cold. Ashton Kutcher got to wear a coat. That’s unfair that he could co-ordinate it into his red carpet look.

Jessica shared that her favorite part of the movie was when John Cusack woos his love with a boom box in “Say Anything.” And we all know that we would all love it if a guy did that for us. Jessica said she would too.

“No, I wish! I think I still dream about that. I still fantasize that that will happen to me one day in my old age.”

I hope Cash Warren sees this post so he would know what to get her for Valentine’s Day.

Jessica Alba Cute On The Cover Of UK Cosmopolitan

February 10th, 2010 Taylor Blue Posted in Jessica Alba No Comments »

jessica-alba-cosmopolitan-march-2010-uk

I love this cover of Jessica Alba from the March 2010 UK Cosmopolitan.  It must be those bangs. It changes her whole face. In the magazine she talked about husband, Cash Warren, and working with Lindsay Lohan. Here are the highlights:

On husband Cash Warren: “We’re similar in some ways and opposites in others. We’re similar in social situations - we’re both open. But he’s not crazy about movies and I am. He doesn’t like cooking and I do. He loves sport and I don’t. Well, I do but I’d rather not watch it for 12 hours a day - then watch the highlights at the end!”

On Equality in Hollywood: “I believe there’s going to be more equality, and if women take on the attitude of lifting each other up instead of being competitive with each other, it’ll be better for all of us. There are amazing actresses - Zoe Saldana, Drew Barrymore, Julia Roberts, Jessica Biel, Eva Mendes - so I’m all about supporting each other to succeed. A lot of women are so concerned with society telling us that we need to emulate this persona - like, if you’re a mum you act like this, and if you-re the girl next door you have to act like that. I was focused on making money and trying to stay relevant. I never bucked the system. But now I feel I can have more control and I want to play women who are strong and independent, who are completely flawed and have problems but that’s OK.”

On working with Lindsay Lohan: “Yeah, and my husband may do a TV show with her - ironically, about the ridiculousness of tabloids. Lindsay’s had to deal with this for so long. Everyone has to live their life, and that’s what people forget when you’re in this business. Lindsay’s really nice. We hung out and chat for hours about girl stuff.”

You can see Jessica coming up in the movie Valentine’s Day when it hits theaters on Friday.

Jessica Alba Has A Hard Time Believing In Marriage

February 7th, 2010 Taylor Blue Posted in Jessica Alba No Comments »

Jessica Alba and Honor

Jessica Alba said it took a while for her marry her now husband, Cash Warren, because of modern views of marriage.

“I had a hard time agreeing with marriage at all because I feel like its been warped,” said Alba. “Originally, it was two families coming together to make a stronger family. It was about survival — not love or soulmates. And now the way they market marriage — even as a kid through Disney movies — is that it’s all about Prince Charming sweeping you off your feet.

“There’s this mentality that you need the big dress and the big day — the day every girl gets to be a princess. I didn’t agree with any of that. This tradition of obeying your husband like he’s your king? It’s a load of cr*p. Love and honor, yes. But you should love and honor yourself too, and all your friends.”

I have to agree with Jessica. It seems sometimes that people are looking for the wrong things in a mate. When really it should be about love. Jessica finally accepted Warren’s proposal when she knew they would be together through thick and thin.

Jessica Alba Says Honor Can Be A Bully

February 6th, 2010 Taylor Blue Posted in Celebrity Kids, Jessica Alba No Comments »

Jessica Alba

Jessica Alba recently was on the Tonight Show and there she dished about how she realized that her daughter, Honor, 19 months, has a mean streak.

“We actually went on vacation over Christmas with another friend of ours that has kids, because now that you have kids it’s different going on vacation. Single people aren’t really trying to wake up early in the morning, and they don’t really understand the meltdowns and a poopy diaper grosses them out.”

Jessica continued, “I try to be a very prepared mom and you have to pack 10,000 more bags when you have a kid. I pulled the big amateur move and I didn’t bring any toys. And we realized on this trip that my daughter is a bully: She would steal her girlfriend’s toys and push her and pull her hair for a stroller or for a baby doll or for a purse.”

I have always thought it was cute watching little kids and their attitude. You can catch Jessica in the movie, Valentine’s Day, hitting theaters on February 12th.

Jessica Alba Raising Honor Bilingual

January 31st, 2010 Taylor Blue Posted in Celebrity Kids, Jessica Alba No Comments »

jessica-alba-febmarch-cover

Jessica Alba is looking beautiful on the February/March 2010 issue of Siempre Majur Magazine. In the magazine Jessica talks about her daughter and her heritage. Here are the highlights:

On her recent decision to hire a Hispanic studies professor to teach her and Honor Spanish: “God knows that I wish I was raised bilingual. But it wasn’t to be.”

On the hurt she felt after the revelation at age 18 that she did not speak Spanish: “I tried to explain to [journalists] that in this country I’m considered Latina and, thus, I consider myself Latina as well. I identify with Mexicans. It’s in my blood whether or not I speak Spanish.”

On the one thing she would like to change about herself: “[The ability to] turn my brain off every once in a while. I’m too analytical.”
