Knocked Up Celebs

By now you probably know that Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez are through.    Among the many questions on my mind about their split is:  what happens to their twins, Max and Emme?

EOnline! asked celebrity divorce lawyer Fred Siegel just that question, and here’s his guess.

“They’re probably going to quietly settle that arrangement amongst themselves,” he said, noting that “95%” of high-profile couples come to mutual agreements about custody and visitation.   (Note that Siegel does not represent either party in this case).

Siegel also imagines that the family will continue to use their nannies, who will travel back and forth with the twins between Jennifer and Marc’s homes.

“My guess is that the kids would each have one nanny during the week, and another one nanny each for the weekend.”

One nanny each?  I knew those kids were pampered (and of course their parents can well afford it), but wow.  Must be nice!

That aside, hopefully J-Lo and Marc will remember that they need to think about the kids, and not just themselves, as they arrange their post-divorce lives.   More on this as it develops.

I admit that I’ve caught a bit of this season’s American Idol. It’s different seeing Jennifer Lopez as a judge. I still miss Ellen Degeneres. Recently, Jennifer revealed that  daughter, Emme, 2, is following in her musical footsteps.

“Emme sings. It’s funny when you listen to her because she sings out of pure joy and pleasure but the minute she thinks you are watching her she stops. But she has a beautiful little voice, like a little Shirley Temple vibrato thing. Max is just kinda loud. He is a real boy. Marc [Anthony] says he will be her manager.”

I bet she’s a cutie for sure!

Jennifer Lopez was on The Ellen Show yesterday to talk about the new American Idol that has revamped with new hosts also talked about how she would love to have more babies.

“I don’t know. I don’t know. I’d like to. As soon as I had the babies [twins Max and Emme], I thought to myself, ‘I want to do this a thousand times. I love this. This is life. I just thought, it felt so great. This is what life is all about. And now that it’s, like, three years in, I’m like, ‘Can I do that again?’ It’s funny. But yes, if I got pregnant, I would be extremely happy.”

I will be interested to see how the judges play off of each other. I know that Ellen Degeneres will surely be missed on American Idol.

Jennifer Lopez and twins, Max and Emme, are in the new Gucci campaign where they are debuting children’s clothing for the first time. The new children’s collection is divided into two age ranges from 0 to 2 years and 2 to 8 years and will be available in selected Gucci directly operated stores, department and specialty stores from November onwards.

You can catch the ads nationwide starting on November 20th. I think that the twins are so adorable and their hair is so curly!

There were rumors flying around for weeks now that Jennifer Lopez was going to be one of the new judge’s on American Idol. And now it’s official that Jennifer will be joining Steven Tyler and Randy Jackson for Season 10 of the show. It seems that there is a ton of rock stars this time around.

It should be interesting to see how the three of them interact and if Steven will be the Simon of the group and Jennifer the Paula. The new season premieres in January 2011.

Marc Anthony has been so busy recently and he has a new album, Iconos, that hits stores soon. He recently sat down with US magazine and talked about his marriage to wife, Jennifer Lopez, and twins, Max and Emme. Here are the highlights:

On how his children inspire him and if he picks songs they will love: That’s always a factor in everything you do — working responsibly and living responsibly. You think about where this album will be in 20 years from now and whether they are gong to be proud of it. The babies are obviously with me every step of the way. There were a couple of songs that Emme picked. Just by her [saying] “again, again.”

On if one of the twins is more musical: Emme is extremely musical, she wrote a couple of songs already.

On how she is musical: Everything is ‘Twinkle Twinkle Little Star,’ and she starts saying names of people that she misses, like her big brothers. It’s her way of expressing herself. She is two and she just wants to sing their names over and over again. And then she was missing Uncle Benny, and then she was singing ‘Benny.’

On if Max is musical too: Max is really rhythmic. If you put a little drum in front of him — he is a boy after all — he’ll bang things as hard as he can. The drums just seem to suit him fine. He gravitates toward the thought that ‘Oh my God, I can make noise and hit this really hard, and I don’t get weird looks.’

On how she keeps the love alive with Jen: Well she’s my girl, and I mean that in every step of the way. In every sense of the word in all kinds of ways. It’s about just realizing on any given day, people change, they evolve, and just being open to that. Being aware that having a witness is better than not. Just really appreciating the little things. I feel stupid giving you my advice, but what actually works kind on a simple level, is being aware of each other, being selfless, regardless. Sometimes it can be that simple.

On if they will have more children: You think I’m going to tell you? I have to talk to my wife about that first!

Jennifer Lopez and husband, Marc Anthony, were on hand last night at the Apollo Theater Spring Benefit Concert & Awards in New York. Jennifer and Marc accepted the Ruby Dee & Ossie Davis Arts and Humanitarian Award. I’m sure the two of them enjoyed their night out.

Jennifer Lopez looked beautiful in her gold and feather dress for the 2010 World Music Awards that were held in Monte Carlo, Monaco last night (May 18th). She received the Legend for Outstanding Contribution to the Arts trophy and also performed at the awards show.

Jennifer Lopez brought it to the photo call of her newest movie, The Back-up Plan, in Spain. The movie also stars, Alex O’Loughlin.

Jennifer recently was talking to Redbook about how she couldn’t bear to be away from the kids.

“I never expected to feel the guilt of not being able to be there for [my kids] at every single moment.”

I think that every parent goes through that at some point.
