Knocked Up Celebs

We finally know who was inside that huge baby bump that Jennifer Garner‘s been hauling around with her!  Her husband Ben Affleck announced that Jen has given birth to a baby boy.

Samuel Garner Affleck was born on February 27.  He joins big sisters Violet (6) and Seraphina (3).   Now Daddy’s not QUITE as outnumbered by women in the house!

In addition to growing her third baby, Jennifer Garner‘s got plenty of other stuff on her plate these days.  Her new movie, Butter, premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival this fall, and hits theaters soon.  In the film, she plays a rather uptight Midwestern woman who hopes to make a name for herself at the Iowa State Fair’s butter carving competition.  (Now there’s a specialty niche for you.)

Garner, who produced the movie, told InStyle why she was drawn to the character.

“I identified with her loss of identity.  You identify with your career then become a mom and put everything you have into the happiness of those kids. And though I wouldn’t change it for anything, you lose part of yourself.”

Jennifer Garner is in her third trimester of pregnancy and she is certainly looking it these days.   She’s not letting it slow her down, though:  she was out taking care of errands in Los Angeles on Thursday.

Jennifer’s due in February so it won’t be long before we meet the new Garner-Affleck baby!

Jennifer Garner doesn’t let being pregnant stop her from enjoying time at the park with her daughters Violet and Seraphina.   The trio were spotted out in the Santa Monica sunshine.   But with a baby on the way, is it really good for Jen to be lifting an almost-three year old like that?  Hang on, Seraphina!!

Never accuse Jennifer Garner of not maximizing her time! She was spotted last week accompanying her daughter Violet to ballet class while juggling little Seraphina in one hand and texting with the other.   Good thing she doesn’t need another hand to carry her baby bump too!

Jennifer Garner and her husband Ben Affleck do not yet know the gender of baby number three, but they’ve almost certainly started thinking about what to name him or her.  And if they haven’t yet, no worries:  their girls Violet and Seraphina are on the job.

Jennifer made an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and shared some of her daughters’ baby name suggestions.  She told Ellen:

“Ralphie, Frankie, Minnie Mouse, Daisy Duck. Rosemarie.. Daisy Duck Affleck.  I can see us going that way.”

As for her thoughts on her new little one’s gender, Jennifer said:

“Obviously we’d be happy either way.  It would be so weird to have a boy and cool and different. And I’m sure it would be fun for Ben, he likes baseball and all that stuff. But a third girl, three girls is a great way to grow up.”

And Jen would know about growing up with three girls, as she’s got two sisters herself.

Jennifer Garner showed off her baby bump and a pair of lovely legs at Sunday night’s Pink Party.  She opted for a one-shouldered, magenta mini dress for her walk down the pink carpet.

The event, which benefits the Women’s Cancer Program at Cedars-Sinai Hospital, features a fashion show – which Jennifer hosted – and live auction hosted by Jamie Lee Curtis.   A worthy cause if there ever was one!

Now that the news of her pregnancy is out, Jennifer Garner has dispensed with the baggy tops and blouses.  She was out and about last week wearing a long sleeved, navy t-shirt with the word “LOVE” printed on it.   Well, Jen, we LOVE that you are finally showing off your growing bump!

As though we didn’t know already (but thank you for officially revealing it) Jennifer Garner announced yesterday that she is pregnant.

She and husband Ben Affleck released the news in a one-sentence statement to the Associated Press.   The couple say they are “thrilled” to have baby #3 on the way.

They’re already parents to daughters Violet (5) and Seraphina (2).

Congratulations, guys!

Jennifer Garner and her daughter Seraphina Affleck hit the American Girl store at The Grove in Los Angeles today for a bit of shopping.  Looks like they picked up some fun stuff!

Jennifer’s baby bump is getting more and more obvious all the time.   Any guesses how far along she is?
