Christina Aguilera is releasing her perfumes just in time for Christmas. They are being released at Kohl’s in a gift set. I love those gift sets that they have during the Christmas season.  Recently, Christina talked to Stylelist about fashion and being a mommy. Here are the highlights:

On her favorite beauty look: Any look that pops off with a red lip is my favorite! I love doing everything from sweet and sexy to modern bionic or retro vintage glam. I’ll top it off with MAC’s Viva Glam or this shade called Powerhouse that is the perfect red that never turns, but I think they discontinued it.

On getting back to shape after a baby: Being in shape is always a tricky thing for me because I despise working out! I hate it. But I do it to keep mentally and physically healthy, and to feel good afterwards. I do a routine of weight training and pilates, which I did through my pregnancy. I’m not into dieting or depriving myself — I enjoy living life, and it’s important to me to do that. I never starve myself.

On how her fashion and style has changed since being a mother: The hat that I wear as an artist and professionally is completely different form my mommy hat. No, I wouldn’t say that they changed. I actually feel sexier and more confident now. Your entire body is on loan when you have a baby, it’s your baby’s food supply, sanctuary, safety. Getting my body back made me more confident because I had gone through that whole process.

On her favorite product she can’t live without: Leave-in conditioner. I’m actually on the hunt for a real good one right now. I use Johnson & Johnson’s Detangler Spray on my extensions and Davines Nounou Conditioner, too.

Christina Aguilera stopped by the Ellen Degeneres show to talk about her new movie, Burlesque. Ellen surprised her with a cake even! Lucky girl. Christina talked about how the main man in her life is her son, Max.

“I adore [Max] and he’s such a character and he’s so happy and at the end of the day, that’s what’s most important,” said Christina.

She also gave a shout out the single moms. Which since I am one as of late I know I have respect for all of them.

“More power to single moms and those out there doing it. I was raised by a single mom.”

I can’t wait to see her on the big screen!

Christina Aguilera looked smashing in green at the premiere of her movie, Burlesque, at the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, California last night. This movie will be her first big screen appearance. I know I want to go see it. I guess because Cam Gigandet is in it.

The other day Christina received a star on the Walk of Fame. Can you believe that she had been in the business for twenty years already? It’s been that long since she was on the New Mickey Mouse Club (along side Ryan Gosling, Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears).

Christina Aguilera looks absolutely beautiful on the December 2010 issue of Redbook magazine. I can’t wait to see Christina hit the big screen in Burlesque. The trailer looks amazing! In the magazine she talks about the breakup of her marriage and what gets her out of bed in the morning: inspiring work, loyal girlfriends, and devotion to her little boy, Max. Here are the highlights to the interview:

On being a strong woman: “Every woman has the ability or the drive to do it all and have it all. Men aren’t as strong and capable as we are. We’re machines.”

On balancing work and motherhood: “My life is cyclical. First it’s album time, then it’s touring time. I go through phases, so we roll with the punches. I’m not a 9-to-5 woman who has the same kind of lifestyle for years on end. I couldn’t do it. I need the spontaneity, that thrill of change. That’s part of how I get inspired. You know, this is what the cards have in store for Max. We put it into his brain early on that he’s a traveling guy. He adapts well when we go from hotel to hotel.”

Christina’s close friend, Nicole Richie is a key member of her support system: “It’s very clear through Christina’s music what a strong woman she is,” Nicole told REDBOOK. “But to watch her as a mother only skyrockets the respect I have for her. She is the woman who’s recording until 4 a.m. and up at 7 to be with her son. Her dedication to Max is incredible.”

This issue hits newsstands on November 16.

Christina Aguilera was spotted on the red carpet at the opening gala and unmasking of the Resnick Pavilion at LACMA (the Los Angeles County Museum of Art) in Los Angeles on Saturday night. It seems that the media has been quick to jump on the she gained weight band wagon. But I say that it doesn’t really matter. She looks happy and healthy.

Christina is getting ready to promote her movie, Burlesque, that opens in November and also stars Cam Gigandet. I for one want to see this movie.

Christina Aguilera brought it to the red carpet at the musical tribute for John Lennon last night in New York City. The Montblanc John Lennon Edition was the event and the proceeds of which will help give children access to music education.

Christina sang the song, Imagine. I know with her voice it would have sounded amazing.

Christina Aguilera finally gets to show off her acting! Her new movie, Burlesque, who also stars Cam Gigandet and Kristen Bell is coming out in a few months and the trailer is finally out. Here’s a quick synopsis: A small-town girl books a one-way ticket to Los Angeles in hopes of becoming a star. Has to convince Cher and Stanley Tucci she should be on stage.

It looks like one of those movies where you can overcome all to show that you are worth something. Get out the tissues!

Christina Aguilera is just releasing a new album, Bionic, and still has to juggle being a mom and her career. She seems to be doing it with grace. But she says, it doesn’t come without a cost.

“I’ll go and tuck my son in at night and sing him to sleep [with] a lullaby, and then I go in the studio and sing. It’s definitely a challenge and a balancing act, but one that I take on. I wouldn’t have it any other way.”

And the most important thing about son, Max, 2, is that he grows up in a happy-go-lucky environment.

“I really like to let him be creative and give him the freedom to really have fun. I think fun is a really big element of life itself, and being able to take in the small things. I’m instilling that in him early – being playful, and allowing him to get messy and dirty as a boy and just have fun – to really push for his individuality.”

I think that is something we all try to learn as a mom. Is that juggling of everything. I wonder if it can ever be done the right way?

Christina Aguilera and son, Max, were out and about in SoHo. Max is getting so big! I can’t believe how much he has grown since the last time we have seen him.

Christina was on the Oprah Winfrey show recently where she talked about how motherhood has changed her to be a better artist.

“I like to take time between records and just live life for a moment, just gather my thoughts, my inspiration, and figure out what the next record is going to be. I just take those moments to live life so I can be even more inspired as an artist.”

I love when kids inspire you to be a better person.

Christina Aguilera rocked the red carpet last night at the 67th Annual Golden Globes in Beverly Hills last night. She presented an award with Cher for the Best Original Song and Best Original Score For A Motion Picture. Cher and Christina are filming the movie Burlesque together, it seemed only fitting that they present an award together too.
