Christina Applegate just gave birth to daughter, Sadie, almost four weeks ago and already she is already appearing on talk shows. I don’t think I was even able to get out of bed yet after four weeks. Christina appeared on Tuesday’s episode of the Ellen Show and talked all about giving birth to her daughter. She had been in labor for 18 hours and found it to not be painless. She had a reaction to the epidural which made it worse.

“I didn’t like it. I didn’t like the feeling of numbness….It was really creepy to me. It was too much, so we turned it off and we opted to go all the way…Feeling it all.”

She said that the feeling of pain was ‘profound’. When her daughter finally arrived she did something she never expected she would do.

“I dropped my gown, which I don’t do. This part of my body is very private to me. That’s a real private place. A place that I don’t have a good relationship with, let’s say. But at that moment of pulling [Sadie] out and I just tore that thing off. There’s a room full of people that I don’t know. Nurses and doctors. And she and I just laid there…It was the best thing that’s every happened to me.”

There is nothing like that moment when you meet your baby for the first time.

Alyssa Milano and husband, Dave Bugliari, are expecting their first child. Alyssa’s rep confirmed the news exclusively to People.

“They’re just over the moon,” says a friend. “They are so excited.”

The couple who were married in 2009, are expecting the new addition in the fall.

Christina Applegate is glowing on the cover of this week’s issue of People magazine. On the cover she is seen with her daughter, Sadie Grace, who was born on January 27th. And how does Christina feel about being a mother?

“I felt my heart literally open up for the first time and like wrap itself around her. It was profound. And I’m more in love with her every minute of the day.”

And she says she wants to be the ultimate mother!

“I want to be the ultimate burper and diaper-changer, I want to be the ultimate at all of it.”

Jennifer Hudson debuted her new look last night on the red carpet at the 2011 Grammy Awards last night. She is looking amazing! She said that she has lost a total of 80 lbs.

“Oh my god, yes, it’s a brand new me. Sometimes I don’t even recognize myself. I’ve lost 80 lbs.”

Her new album, I Remember Me, hits on March 22. I’m sure this new image will only boost sales. Congratulations to Jennifer!

Reese Witherspoon and fiance, Jim Toth, were seen leaving church in Santa Monica yesterday with Ava and Deacon. Her kids are adorable. And Deacon sure looks a lot like his dad, Ryan Phillippe.

It was just announced that Reese will presenting at the Oscars. She won an Oscar in 2005 for her performance as June Carter in Walk The Line.

Jewel was glowing on the red carpet on Friday night at the MusiCares 2011 Person of the Year Tribute in Los Angeles, California. That black dress looks perfect on her and she’s looks so happy. Jewel tweeted about the event saying:

“fun in my little black dress at the Music Cares event honoring the great Barbara Streisand- & what a show- stevie wonder and SO many greats!”

Jewel and husband, Ty Murray, are expecting their first child, a boy, later this year.

Selma Blair patting her baby bump was seen doing errands with a friend yesterday in West Hollywood. Selma was dealing with a death in the family, her dog, Wink, died on Friday morning. Wink was her one-eyed dachshund-mix. I still think that pets are always harder to mourn pets then people sometimes.

Selma is expecting her first child with Jason Bleick later this year.

We all know that Pink is a vocal person. And truth be told, that is one of the reasons I like her so much. She is currently pregnant and she had posted this picture on Twitter to get at all the bad paparazzi pictures out there.

ALRIGHT… because paparazzi of today have absolutely no photographic skill or artistry whatsoever, and their pictures are hideous….I’m going to post a self-portrait I took yesterday morning for all of you asking to see belly shots. 3 wks of photo classes for me…

I think that she has amazing skills! I love my camera though so maybe I am just bias that way.

Life & Style is reporting that Mariah Carey and husband, Nick Cannon, are expecting a boy and a girl.  Mariah is telling them exclusively:

“Even before we announced it was twins, I was trying to keep everything genderneutral because I didn’t want to impose an identity on them too soon,” Mariah tells Life & Style with a laugh. “There were fan contests on Twitter about what gender they are and rumors about them being two boys or two girls — but nobody guessed this!”

That should be exciting and then they will have one of each already. Congratulations goes out to the parents to be!
