Knocked Up Celebs

Amy Poehler and husband, Will Arnett, are expecting their second child it has been confirmed. A rep confirmed the news to US magazine exclusively. Their are no other details known at the moment.

The baby will join big brother, Archie, 16 months.

Vern Yip, who stars in the show Design Star, and his partner, have welcomed a baby boy via surrogate. Gavin Joshua Mannox was born on January 6th and weighed 7 lbs., 6 oz., and 19 ½ inches long.

“He is beautiful and perfect and we are, naturally, already in love with him,” says Yip.

I admit that I do a lot of surfing in the day. That would be web surfing not surfing on the water, I see all the cool websites. I thought I would compile a list of my favorites. I want to share the love with them anyways for being the best this year.

Celebrity Baby Blog- This has to be the best baby blog out there. I know the mom’s at the bus stop often tell me how they were at that site. They publish facts and truths and there is something to be said for that kind of reporting.

Celebrity Baby Scoop- I am a frequent visitor to this site. I am always catching up on the latest news here. I love all the pictures of the cute kids. That is always a plus!

Babycenter: FAMEBaby-This is the first site I usually go to every day. I love how they manage to always pick out the most important stories and my favorite feature is their quotes.

Celebrity Pregnancy- This is one of my new favorites. A friend of mine had told me all about it. Now I frequently visit to see what’s happening.

It’s weird how all the mom websites are all different in their own ways. I think it’s neat that way. Each one of these sites presents the news differently. I thank them for keeping me informed in the last year.

Suri Cruise has been named the Most Stylish Toddler according to Adam Childrenswear. Suri has been under some scrutiny as of late for wearing high heels but overall it doesn’t seem like it effected the results of this poll. You have to admit that the rubber boots she is wearing in the picture above are cute. I never liked to wear girly clothes when I was younger but I would have loved those!

“Suri is almost a celebrity in her own right thanks to her cute looks and her amazing wardrobe. She has outfits that rival A-list celebs and this gets her more column inches than many movie stars,” [says Adam Childrenswear.]

Teresa Strasser, who I had the chance to interview back in July, has welcomed a baby boy.  Teresa and husband, Daniel Wachinski, welcomed Nathaniel James Wachinski on Thursday, September 24th. He was born by C-section as she had blogged earlier in the week.

Teresa tweeted this picture at the hospital saying she was having troubles sleeping because of the new view she had.

Congratulations goes out the the whole new family.

Kendra Wilkinson is happy that she is expecting a baby boy with husband, Hank Baskett, in December, but recently she revealed that they had a health scare.

“The doctor told us that there were heart problems — not problems, but it was like a skipped beat,” Kendra said. “I was so scared and so was Hank, we were both very nervous.”

So when they went in for the ultrasound their first concern was to make sure the baby was okay.

“I just wanted to get there and see that heart beating…and we did. We went there the next day and we were just both very nervous and excited at the same time, but we saw on the ultrasound the perfectly normal heart and that’s all we cared about.”

After they found out they had nothing to worry about they went ahead to find out the sex of the baby.

“We cried and then all of a sudden…a penis! That was like the extra, to top everything off,” she laughs.

I know that sometimes when doctors tell you about something that might be wrong you can stress yourself out silly. I’m happy that they found out nothing was wrong.

Jenna Elfman is making her return to prime time television in the CBS sitcom, Accidentally On Purpose. I’ve missed her since Dharma & Greg so I will be glad to see her back! Recently Jenna did an interview with Parade magazine and she talked about her marriage with Bodhi Elfman, and son, Story, 2. Here are the highlights:

On choosing her son, Story’s unique name: “We had the name before we had the baby. My husband just turned to me one night and said, ‘Story Elias Elfman,’ and I said, ‘Done—there’s nothing better than a great story.’”

On having more children: “We’re taking our time, but we’re definitely going to have another kid for sure.”

On their household: “It’s not like my husband and I are shy, quiet types. And Story is fearless—he’ll do flips over my body like I’m a human jungle gym. There’s always a lot of laughter, music playing, lots of screaming and drumming and chasing each other around the house. We have a very happy, adventurous household. It’s awesome, and I’m proud of it. It’s alive in here.”

On how she wants to raise Story: “I was raised as a dancer, so I’ve always been very active with my body. And I’ve found that being confident with your body is a very beneficial thing to living a healthy life. That’s why I want Story to have that, too.”

On the first time she met Bodhi at an audition for a Sprite commercial: “My husband’s quite funny, and he made me laugh. At the wardrobe fitting, I was so excited to see him, and I just got this overwhelming sense of joy and comfort and familiarity. To this day, 18 years later, I have the same reaction—most of the time.”

Gisele Bundchen has yet to officially confirm her pregnancy, but from these pictures published in People magazine it sure looks like it’s obvious to all of us that she has a baby bump.  With Gisele reaching up in the air like that it’s impossible to keep the bump hidden.

Kendra Wilkinson’s site went down yesterday as she announced the news that everyone was waiting for. What was the sex of the baby?

I just left the doctor’s office and I couldn’t wait another minute to tell you guys…Hank and I are having a baby boy!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHH!!!!!! When the doctor told me I was just like OH MY GOD, I’m going to have a son!!!!! Today is certainly always going to be one of the most memorable days of my life!

Whether this little guy is a jock or not, he’s definitely going to be a mama’s boy. And, there’s no doubt he’s gonna be a handsome one…just look at his dad!

Hank and I can’t wait to get started decorating the nursery and stocking his closet full of teeny tiny Eagles jerseys (and Chargers ones too hahahaha).

Congratulations goes out to Kendra and husband, Hank Baskett. They are expecting their blue bundle of joy on Christmas Day.  I wonder what his name will be?

Roger Federer and wife, Mirka, have welcomed twin girls. The girls, Charlene Riva and Myla Rose, were born early Friday (July 24th)  in Switzerland.

“This is the greatest day of our lives,” said Roger. “Mirka, Myla and Charlene are all healthy and doing very well.”

I didn’t even know that they were expecting twins. They did a great job at keeping that away from the press. (The word on the street was that they were expecting one boy.)
