The National Enquirer has broke the news that Jamie Lynn Spears has in fact given birth to a baby girl.

Jamie Lynn has entered Mississippi Southwest Regional Medical Center in McComb, Ms at 4 a.m. today and delivered via C-section at approximately 8:30 a.m. (CST) The baby weighed 6 pounds, 10 ounces. The father is Casey Aldridge.

The 17-year-old Zoey 101 star had an ultrasound last week, indicating her baby may be in breech position.

Jamie Lynn is currently resting in a recovery room.

UPDATE: People has confirmed the story and has released the baby’s name.

PEOPLE confirms exclusively that the baby was named Maddie Briann.

“Just the family was there,” says a source. “Everyone is healthy and happy.”

It is being reported that Jamie Lynn Spears will be giving birth today by c-section because of complications in her pregnancy.

She is giving birth to a baby girl…names have been floating around and one of my favorites was the one left at Backseat Cuddler back in April. The commenter claimed she knew Jamie Lynn and said the name they picked out was Kylie Marie Aldridge. We all know people can change their minds a million times, but it will still be interesting to find out if it comes true.

Rumors swirled this morning that Angelina Jolie had the babies in France on Sunday. And now ET has confirmed that the rumors are true:

A source close to the actress confirms that she has given birth to twins in France. “Babies are great and so is mom,” we’re told.

ET is also hearing that the names are Isla (pronounced eye-la) Marcheline (after Angie’s mom) and Amelie Jane (after Brad’s mom) Jolie-Pitt.

Congratulations go out to the big Jolie-Pitt family. Details will be added as they are known.

Bo Bice revealed the name of his baby boy, that Bo and his wife, Caroline, are expecting in August last night at the American Idol finale.

“[We're] having a little boy [and] we’re going to name him Caleb,” he [said] exclusively at the show’s season-seven finale Wednesday night.

“[Caleb] is a good biblical name,” Bice added at the event, held at the Nokia Theater. “We stuck with that with both kids – good Irish and good biblical names … We’re just blessed to have such a beautiful family.”

This is the couple’s second child they already have a 2-year-old boy, Adian Michael.

The Star (and we all know how reliable they are!) is reporting that Jessica Alba is having a girl and naming her Honor!

Jessica’s friends are snapping up gifts for the star’s baby shower, which will be thrown by her manager Chris Henze’s wife at a private home in Los Angeles on April 6.

One of the guests had a gold and bead charm bracelet made specifically for Jessica’s baby shower at an L.A. jewelry store on March 25. The charms spelled out HONOR.

“This woman was so exited that Jessica is having a girl,” says the source.

“She said she loved the name too, Honor, and said Jessica picked it because she felt it was an honor to have Cash [Warren]’s baby. She said she couldn’t wait to give it to Jessica this weekend. She asked twice if the bracelet would be ready by then.”

Okay, this sounds real…

Tracey Gold and husband, Roby Marshall welcomed their fourth son Tuesday night.

The baby, named Dylan Christopher, arrived at 7:20 p.m. at Southern California’s Tarzana Hospital. He weighed 8 lbs. 4 oz., and measured 21 inches, according to Gold’s spokesman.

“Mom and baby are doing fine,” her rep (and proud grandpa) Harry Gold tells PEOPLE.

The couple have three other sons, Sage, 11, Bailey, 8, and Aiden Michael, 3.

It’s been a long month in the Burke-Charvet household, Brooke Burke couldn’t decide on a name for her son. But now on her website she finally revealed the babies name!!

You heard it here first!  We have finally settled on a name.  We waited our whole lives for our son, and couldn’t find the perfect fit.  Poor guy! Now it’s official. Shaya Charvet. We played with so many different names, and both loved Shaya the most. It means God’s gift in Hebrew.  David came up with a middle name, Braven, which I really like.  I want to give him part of my name too, so I am thinking about double Bs in the middle like my initials, Braven-Burke.

He is the last Charvet to carry on David’s family name.  He is also the first boy in David’s family, the little brother of three princesses, and my youngest.  Ya think he is gonna be spoiled?!?! We haven’t agreed on the middle name yet, but for all those who have been asking, Shaya Charvet it is!

Shaya is an awesome different name! He joins dad, David Charvet, and sisters, Neriah, 7 ½, Sierra Sky, 5 ½, and Heaven Rain, 14 months.

Brooke Burke and fiancee, David Charvet are having a hard time naming their new baby boy.

“We’ve waiting our whole life for a son, and we haven’t named him,” Burke told PEOPLE at Tuesday’s Architectural Digest Harry Benson photography retrospective in West Hollywood. “He did leave the hospital without the birth certificate. I know that’s terrible!” 

Now, nearly three weeks after giving birth, the couple may be finally zeroing in on the perfect moniker. “We’re really, really close [to a name],” said the 36-year-old. “We’ve agreed on the first and the last, and we’re still fighting on the middle.”

Brooke has three other children, Rain, 1, Neriah, 7, and Sierra, 5. I am sure he will have a really funky name!

And what does Brooke say about adding another child into their family?

“Going from two to three was easy. Going from three to four, a whole other world,” a weary-eyed Burke said at Tuesday’s event, “We’re so sleep-deprived right now, we can both barely see straight.”

Awwwww, poor family. I know that the first month is the hardest!!!

There are rumors going around that Angelina Jolie is expecting a boy and a girl!

A source told In Touch magazine: “They’ll be having a boy and a girl.

“Because she took fertility treatment to help her ovulate, her babies are fraternal.

“They’re ecstatic. She can’t wait.”

In other news, it’s being reported that Maddox, Angelina’s oldest son, gets to pick the names for the twins. Rumors are that Maddox has picked the name Mallory for the girl twin because his favorite movie is The Spiderwick Chronicles. How cute would that be?

Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry named their precious daughter, Nahla Ariela Aubry.

Nahla, Arabic in origin, means “honeybee” or ”drink of water.” Which is so adorable for a baby… honeybee!

Nahla’s nursey entirely organic, at the request of the couple, complete with custom-made mod furniture in creams and beiges (as the couple didn’t know the baby’s sex until delivery).

Outfitted by uberchic baby spot Petit Tresor, Halle and Gabriel ordered a custom banner for their foyer, reading “Welcome to the Planet xx Mommy and Daddy.”

I think it’s a great name…It won’t be confused with Shiloh or Suri, and it’s more original than Max!
