Would You Name Your Child After A TV Character?
I know that I love names and I am always collecting them for something. I won’t be having any more children so maybe it’s for my future pets I might have. I love naming my goldfish! I saw this article this morning from BuddyTV about the new TV character baby name trends and I thought I might share the results, you never know when you might need a cool name for your next child.
The rising most popular girls names are:
Sookie (a character on True Blood)
Tenley (the runner-up on the latest season of The Bachelor)
Eloise (Daniel Faraday’s mother on Lost)
Genevieve (a character on Supernatural)
Piper (one of the witches from Charmed)
The rising most popular boys names are:
Castiel (an angel on Supernatural)
Declan (one of the guys from Kyle XY)
Atreyu (one of the main characters in The Neverending Story)
Dashiell (perhaps a resurgence for author Dashiell Hammett’s detective novels)
Phineas (from the cartoon Phineas and Ferb)
Is it just me or are the boys names really crazy? I mean I really like Castiel though. I am sure though people would have problems saying it and writing it.
