Jason Wade, frontman for the band Lifehouse, has revealed that after nine years of being married he and his wife, Braeden, are ready to have kids soon.

“We’re thinking about having kids in the next couple years. I’m scared at the same time, having to travel and be on the road a lot, but everyone I talk to who’s had children says that it’s the most amazing thing and it’ll change your life. I look forward to it.”

I interviewed Jason recently and it sounds like for the last nine years he has been on the road, touring and recording. I hope that maybe soon he will have time to relax and enjoy the lazy side of  life. And how many children does he think he will have?

“You don’t want to have one kid because then you spoil them. If you have two, they have someone to play with, and if you have three, then one’s going to be left out, so I think two is the perfect number.”

I have two kids. It’s great to always have a playmate around for the other for sure! Lifehouse’s fifth studio album, Smoke & Mirrors, is out now.
