Knocked Up Celebs

I think you have made the big time when you become a cartoon character. And now Matt Lauer will be one in the next Curious George movie named, Curious George 2: Follow That Monkey. Matt plays a news anchor, Hark Hanson.

The reason he took this role was for his children, Jack, 9, Romy, 6, and Thijs, 3.

“I just think it’s a kick,” he says. “I mean, we talk so much on my show about entertainment and pop culture and negative influences on children, and here you have a chance to be part of something that’s just good wholesome family fun that my kids already have a history with. Why not give them a little bit of a thrill to see their dad involved with something like that?”

It’s nice to be able to do something positive to show children that not everything is negative! The DVD hits stores on March 2nd.
