Knocked Up Celebs

Christmas is getting closer and I am in no way prepared for it. But Peter Facinelli is thinking about it for sure. He dished at the Tribeca Film Institute’s premiere of the Robert DeNiro-Drew Barrymore movie Everybody’s Fine, a couple days ago about how he loves the real Christmas tree opposed to the fake one.

“My wife wants to do the fake tree because it’s easy but I am so anti fake trees. In one room we do a nice fake tree, and in the other room I get to have my tree with all the pine needles falling all over the place.”

I am allergic to real trees so I have to admit I have never had a real tree in my house. So imagining a tree that has needles all over the place makes me laugh. And the story of how they go get the tree is adorable.

“What’s fun is that I get to go and pick out the tree with the kids, and then it becomes an experience,” he said. “Sometimes I’ll hide behind the tree. I used to pretend I was the talking tree. The kids loved it. I would be like, ‘Hey, pick me – I am the best Christmas tree!’ “

Peter is really an awesome dad. I am sure the kids are always laughing at him!
