Knocked Up Celebs

Arianne Zucker, who plays Nicole in one of my favorite soaps, Days of Our Lives, is pregnant with her first child with husband, Kyle Lowder. She recently talked to Pregnancy magazine about her pregnancy. Here are the highlights:

On the biggest factor contributing to her pregnancy: Positivity

On what she ate when she first got pregnant: I ate breakfast burritos like you wouldn’t believe. I obviously needed to gain weight. Throughout my life I’ve listened to my body, because I believe it tells me important things. If my body craves a steak I eat one. Do I eat alot of chocolate cake? No! But will I treat myself to a piece of cake every once in a while? Yes!

On having a new family: [It] will be a whole new world. I am learning so much from being pregnant, and everyone at work is so supportive, which is sweet and wonderful. My daughter is going to have alot of aunties and uncles.

On having night sickness: [I had night sickness] instead of morning sickness and it really sucked. But when a doctor told me the sicker I got, the healthier the baby could be, I said, “Bring it on.”

On her amazing husband, Kyle: Kyle, is like the perfect husband. He does the laundry, cooks, cleans–he’s a clean freak anyway. Talk about being a man. A real man is one that can let his guard down once in a while.
