Knocked Up Celebs

Nia Long is a working mother. And sometimes when we can’t be with our children because of work we do other things that can help us be a hands on mother. Nia prides herself on being a very hands on by letting her son, Massai, 9, co-sleep with her.

“Well my son still sleeps in bed with me… and I love it. Every now and then I get a foot in my neck or an elbow in my back. But you know when the whole day goes by and he’s busy being a boy and I can’t kiss him goodbye on the first day of school – cause [his girlfriend] Ella’s watching. That’s my time. And we snuggle… and it’s the best.”

I have to admit that I still co-sleep with my son too, he is 6. But really because he doesn’t have his own room. I know the kicking and getting elbowed is a pain.  I hope one day he’ll be out of that bed. I’m glad that Nia can talk about it and let moms know that they aren’t alone.
