Nick Jonas Inspires People Everywhere
Nick Jonas was being his awesome self yesterday speaking at the National Press Club about the awareness of Diabetes in families. Nick talked about Type 1 diabetes and how there should be more motivation in young people and families to manage the disease.
“So many fans with diabetes from all over the world share their stories and thank me for being an inspiration to them. It’s important for them to know that they motivate and inspire me as well. I’m lucky to have a great support system in my family as well as the tools I need to manage my diabetes properly. By speaking publicly about my experience I hope to increase diabetes awareness, encourage diabetes education and help fundraising for research and other programs for kids with diabetes. The more you report about diabetes, the more people will know”.
Nick also shared with the press there has been “one or two moments” during concerts when he asked his brothers to talk a bit longer on stage while he stepped away to check his sugar levels. He wears a diabetic insulin pump on his lower back while performs. What a great inspiration to many kids. Knowing that Nick has such a busy life and still is able to take care of his disease.
Nick is currently single and would consider dating a fan. Do I hear all the fan girls screaming now?
