Russell Simmons is on the July 2009 cover of Jet magazine with his girls, Ming Lee, 9, and Aoki Lee, 6. It’s nice to see a dad with their children on the cover. In the issue he talks about what he instills in the girls and his ex-wife, Kimora Lee Simmons. Here are the highlights…
On what he instills in the girls: “I tell them that giving is part of your receiving process; life is about giving.”
On mom Kimora Lee Simmons: “Obviously we have an arrangement, but Kimora is very gracious when it comes to the children. Whenever there is something special, additional days that I want, she is very accommodating.”
