Cruz Beckham Named After Tom Cruise
David and Victoria Beckham have a son named Cruz. I had always thought he was named after Tom Cruise, and now I have confirmation. It’s being reported that David told a writer all about the meaning of Cruz’ name…
“I must admit, when [Victoria and I] met Tom, I remember turning around to Victoria and saying, ‘Cruise is a great name, but we could spell it different. And also living in Spain, Cruz is spelled the way it is in Spanish. So that’s why we got it.”
The book called, The Beckham Experience, by Grant Wahl, is said to have a whole chapter on David and Tom’s friendship. I can’t wait to read this one when it comes out.
