Melissa Joan Hart Says To Treat Your Nanny Like Your Friend
Melissa Joan Hart has alot going on. Recently, she just opened a store with her mom called Sweet Harts. And it looks like a place that would be great to get a cupcake. She also has two children, Mason, 3, and Braydon, 15 months. And because of her busy life she has a nanny. But she has a strict rule about how a nanny should be.
“My one thing is, don’t let a nanny raise the child…Our nanny has become a good friend. It’s really hard sometimes with the boundaries, exactly because I want to treat her like a friend, but that’s also why there are ground rules. We’ve only had one nanny, and she’s been with us since the second son was born.”
I couldn’t see having a nanny in the first place because if I couldn’t help I wouldn’t want to have that situation. But it would be good for traveling or working, because then at least my kids know her and I could trust that they would be taken care of properly. Are you pro or con nannies?

I think Melissa is right. You need and you have to treat your nanny as a friend. Because of the trust and the friendship, the nanny will feel respected, appreciated and she will give the best care to the child. She will feel valued and will be compelled to be completely responsable.
