Jennifer Garner & Violet Go For A Park Stroll

Jennifer Garner had time to enjoy a park stroll with her daughter, Violet, yesterday in Boston.

Jennifer recently talked to the Vancouver Sun and the way that the paparazzi are so relentless at getting pictures of her and Violet. For a while there we would see pictures of Jennifer picking up Violet from school and she would look upset. Well no wonder when she describes how she feels about it.

“To call it a ‘problem’ is the hugest understatement in the world,” she says passionately. “There are no laws protecting children. They have no right to privacy. Because my husband and I are public figures, it is assumed that our daughters are public figures, and there’s nothing to protect them.”

She then went on to explain what happened one day when she went to pick up her daughter from school.

“When we go to preschool, there are so many paparazzi there that they are knocking kids on the heads with cameras and knocking them down. They’re there every single day, when I drop Violet Anne off and pick her up outside the gates. There are huge numbers of them — and they’re aggressive. They talk to her. They yell at her. They try to get her attention. They try to get her to react. It is a shame, shame, shame.”

It seems that people are crazy to get that shot lately. I don’t know why they have to be so aggressive to them, especially if they have children. Like Jennifer says…

“Now, it’s worse because of the entire world of tabloid journalism. Now, there are almost as many video cameras as there are film cameras and the situation has shifted so that a huge amount of their focus is put on the children of celebrities.”

I wonder what they could to to help them feel like they are not so exposed?
