Bristol Palin hit the headlines when she became pregnant as a teenager. And now that Levi Johnston and her are no longer together she is spreading the word about teen pregnancy. She as been appointed as a Teen Ambassador for The Candie’s Foundation. She says that if she could help one person not get pregnant then she has done her job.

“Regardless of what I did personally, I just think that abstinence is the only … 100 percent foolproof way to prevent pregnancy.”

I’m not sure what I thought of the interview. I was wondering if Matt Lauer was putting too much emphasis on how Bristol saying what she is saying makes it seem like Tripp, 5 months, was a mistake. I got pregnant myself young and I would never even throw that word around. I didn’t like that he kept on saying that.

I hope though that Bristol speaking out like this will help teens. They don’t need to be at home with babies missing out on their fun part of life.
