Reese Witherspoon was spotted taking son, Deacon, 5, to the UCLA Medical Center in Santa Monica on Friday. And when she came out the paparazzi were waiting to take pictures of them. It’s been a while since we have seen Deacon and he still looks just like his dad, Ryan Phillippe.

Recently Reese talked to Reader’s Digest about being a mom…

“I’m not a super-strict parent, but I think it’s important to have rules for children. It gives them a sense of structure — and that’s what we are all seeking. We just want to know when we’ve done something right or wrong. That’s what I’m trying to teach my own children.”

She is also convinced of raising her kids with manners, which so many kids seem to lack now a days…

“Children should learn their values at home. In sixth grade, I took a manners class once a week. We learned things like ‘What’s the right way to answer the telephone?’ My kids set the table every night, and we eat dinner as a family.”

I think that Reese is on the right track, her kids always look so well mannered and nice.
