Mary Lynn Rajskub Finds Being A Mom Hard

Sometimes adjusting to being a mom is hard and Mary Lynn Rajskub says she is one of those people.

And being mom to Valentine, 9 months old, says it’s all quite overwhelming he “cries, and cries, and cries and sometimes there’s nothing you can do. It’s like, ‘I fed you! Your diaper’s clean! I sang to you!’”

I know some moms being with a newborn have probably thought of doing what Mary Lynn jokes about.

“I didn’t know what to do one time, so I just sat him down and crawled under a table and called the police. I had to. I was like, ‘Hello, police…He’s in the house. He’s trying to kill me. He’s 9-weeks-old. Come quickly.”

I know that my daughter was so colicky for the first four months. Every night from 7 to 10 pm. And there was nothing I could do but ride it out. At four months she started sleeping through the night and I hardly ever heard her cry ever again.
