The Duggar family just had their 18th child on Thursday, a baby girl named Jordyn-Grace, and this morning they were on the Today show looking bright eyed and bushy tailed.

Here are some highlights of the interview above:

On how the baby is doing:
“She’s a very calm baby,” her father told TV viewers, while mother Michelle Duggar interjected, “It’s Mommy’s the one who’s awake.”

On picking Jordyn-Grace’s name:
“I wanted Julie Grace,” said Jim Bob Duggar, though others favored the name Jordan Makiya. So, a compromise was reached, Jordyn-Grace Makiya.

On how children are like flowers:
“I would say,” replied Michelle, “saying there’s too many children is like saying there are too many flowers.”
