Tom Cruise Gushes About Suri
Tom Cruise was smiling at the premiere of his movie, Valkyrie, last night in New York and he even had some time to talk about one of the favorite girls in his life, his daughter, Suri.
Tom says that even though Suri is only two and a half her vocabulary is incredible, but he still has his favorite words he likes to hear.
“I love hearing ‘I love you, dada,’ or, ‘I love you, mama.’ “
Since his wife, Katie Holmes, is busy on Broadway right now, he is enjoying playing Mr. Mom…
“I just love every moment,” he gushed. “We’ve got the teenagers and I’ve got the two-and-half year old and to have that I feel lucky.”
In Tom’s new movie, Valkyrie, he plays Col. Claus von Stauffenberg and has an eye patch over his left eye. At first Suri didn’t like it on him.
“Suri would come up to me and take it off. So the girls in the makeup trailer got a little teddy bear with a patch on it and gave it to her and so she would play with it. That she would get used to the fact it was on me.”
Suri has adjusted to life on movie sets…
“She’ll watch the monitor and talk.”
And will Tom be supportive if she decides to go into acting?
“I would love that. Acting, that’s what I love. It’s a great life.”
I think Suri would have great parents to show her the acting ropes for sure.
