Megan Fox Takes Being A Step Mom Seriously
Megan Fox says that she has become the ideal step mom for her boyfriend, Brian Austin Green’s son, Kash, she even misses him on location. She loves him like a mom and gets sad when she’s away from him working.
“Luckily he’s used to it, because both of his parents are in the business, so he’s used to always being in transit. And it’s not so hard on him. But I feel guilty a lot.” Fox insists she’s the disciplinarian at home - because [Brian Austin Green] feels bad about giving his son, whose mother is actress Vanessa Marcil, a hard time.
She goes on to explain why she is the one to discipline Kash…
“I was raised in the South and my mom was a strict disciplinarian… It’s really easy for me to lay out the rules and make sure that the rules are followed constantly, but I think because he’s from a home with divorced parents, it’s hard for Brian to punish [Kash]. He feels bad that Kash has to always go through the transition in switching homes.”
That is smart for Megan to realize that Kash needs some boundaries. Kash is lucky to have her as a step mom!

The step-parents aren’t the ones to enforce rules

I think that it’s great that Megan takes her role as a step-mom so seriously. It should be the job of all of the parents involved to set boundaries and discipline. I have a step-son and of course I need to help discipline..it would be chaos if I didnt. And the dynamics of all families are different, I would guess if Megan wasnt around Brian probably does in fact discipline his son.

Excuse ME! There should be rules in the house whether or not there’s a step-parent or not!!!!!
