Peter Reckell Talks About Baby Loden
Peter Reckell, from Days of Our Lives, and his wife, Kelly Moneymaker, have a nine-month-old daughter, Loden. Peter recently sat down with TV Guide and did an interview, in the interview he talked about how his daughter got her name.
Loden came to my wife, Kelly, in a dream and suggested the name Loden Sloan. So when Kelly woke up, she looked up Loden, which is a shade of green, and Sloan is Celtic for warrior. Since we’re both passionate environmentalists, it made sense.
And are they thinking of more children any time soon?
No, that’s it. We might adopt down the road. My wife is adopted. Also, people don’t really talk about population control, and we should be discussing that topic.
That’s a great thing that should be mentioned. There are lots of kids that want to be adopted.

Peter Reckell is my favorite actor on Days Of Our Lives. That’s different how his wife came up with the name of their baby. I think it would be nice if they adopted a baby. Loden needs a brother or sister.
