First Look At Jamie Lynn Spears’ Baby in OK! Magazine
Jamie Lynn Spears and her daughter, Maddie Briann, make their debut in OK! Magazine this week. These are the first official pictures because a couple of days after these were released the MySpace account was deleted.
Here are some details she shared about the delivery and the baby:
On the delivery: They’d told me it would be an eight- to 12-hour labor, and I was ready to have the baby in three to four hours. I had a perfect pregnancy and a perfect delivery. I was very blessed.
On what happened in the delivery room: Once I got in there, my doctor was just so calm and so good it was not bad at all…I was just talking to Casey. And you know what’s so weird? I was asking him if he was okay. He was like, ‘Yeah.’ We were both so excited.
On Maddie: She is very good. She’ll feed every two or three hours. When she wakes up in the middle of the night, I’ll feed her and she goes right back to sleep. There’s no screaming and crying. We get up in the morning, and she gets her little bath. Then I get my bath. We have a routine, and I love routines. I’ve worked one out with her, and we’re happy going about our little life.
Catch the rest of the pictures and the article in the issue out Thursday.

Either the OK! editor is foolish or without ethics. How can they put a teenage mother on the cover with her saying how wonderful things are after all the debate about teen pregnancies. Well, this should help those teenagers obsessed with celebrities/fame to keep their legs closed.

I have always looked up to Jamie Lynn and still do. Yes she got pregant but it happens. She made a mistake but is making the best of it. And girls…her hair either got cought on light or got a bad hair dye. Just give her a brake! god. All my wishes with Maddie and keep being ther best mother you can! I love you!!
Love,
Your number one fan

As someone who was also in the same situation when I was 16 I commend her on stepping up to the plate and taking accountability for the situation. It’s hard enough to be a good mom without living in a fish bowl. Yes, things arn’t going to be easy for her and I can say first hand just how hard it is but she seems to be doing a good job so far. Who cares what her hair looks like, the fact that she is even showered and has makeup on with a new born is an accomplishment.
