Katie Couric Talks About Raising Her Kids Alone
Katie Couric is featured in this weeks Quick & Simple magazine. Inside is an interview on how she is dealing with taking care of her daughters as a single mom:
“My girls will not grow up to be snobs,” Katie says. “I’m trying to raise two girls in a normal way, despite the fact that my life is abnormal in many ways,” Couric says. “So far, so good. Knock on wood. I’m trying to keep them grounded , and give them good values and be a good example.”Katie, who lost her husband Jay Monahan to colon cancer, talks about how she handles the pressure of a high-profile gig and raising her kids alone.
“And every time I think, ‘Oh woe is me,’ I think of single mothers who work for minimum wage, and have three kids to bathe and feed when they get home from work. It really puts everything in perspective for me.”
I think she’s done a great job with her girls. You never see them in the media at all! Good job Katie!

What does she know of normal??? She is a loser hack that is going to lose her job and still be paid millions. How about that lib donate half her salary to the poor. Of does she think someone else should.

Raising three girls on minimum wage puts nothing into perspective. Women earning minimum wage can’t afford a nanny to raise her children while she is consumed by her career and they can’t afford the best education money can buy. I just wonder if Katie is happy and was it worth it?
